Christmas Week!  By the end of December, it quickly becomes clear which teams are capable of challenging for the state tournament.  District Championships are always going to carry weight, but the postseason victories are sweetest and these teams are the Top 10 as it now stands.

BOUNCED: Science Hill
JOINED: Columbia Central

Beech and Whitehaven kept doing their thing. No change atop the Top 10 as the two 11-0 teams held firm. Green Hill, with Paxton Davidson Paxton Davidson 6'3" | PG Green Hill | 2022 State TN , Mo Ruttlen, and friends leapfrogged Overton.  At #5, Green Hill is at their highest crest thus far.

Bartlett keeps taking losses to out-of-state teams, which are difficult to measure against the other 4A team.  Bartlett features some strong guards in Jacobs and Amarr Knox Amarr Knox 6'3" | PG Bartlett | 2022 State #212 Nation TN .  Their size should be a massive advantage, but frankly the offense is not wholly reliable out of this talented frontcourt ( Christian Alston Christian Alston 6'5" | SF Bartlett | 2024 State TN , Matthew Stokes Matthew Stokes 6'8" | PF Bartlett | 2023 State TN , etc.).

Whitehaven remains unbeaten with the inimitable Chip Brunt Chip Brunt 6'4" | PG Whitehaven | 2022 State TN leading the way.
