It is starting to be a tradition that a few major high level programs come to Utah and bring some talented prospects with them. Representing Utah we have had Lehi High School, American Fork High School, Farmington High School, Corner Canyon High School and Westlake High School.Coming in from out of state are Faith Family (TX), Kimball (TX), Duncanville (TX), Durango (NV).
Day 1 Standouts
6’4 Tyler Burraston Tyler Burraston 6'4" | SG Corner Canyon | 2022 State UT || Corner Canyon High School ||
Not only did Tyler go off for 25 he helped knock off one of the best teams in Texas with his performance. Kimball was suppose to come in and run the table and Tyler led his team to an impressive win. Tyler just has some range and a quick release. He knows when to dribble out of a shot-fake and relocate and he knows when to get to the basket as well.
6’5 Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT || Farmington High School || 2022 ||
Collin was huge when it mattered down the stretch as he put his team in a good position to win but he could not pull it out as he deferred to his teammates a lot as he was being face guarded most of the game. When Collin has the ball he has shown that he can get by anyone at any level. Collin is showing everyone a glimpse of what all the recruiters have been seeing on the circuit.
Skyridge Tournament
There some solid teams in the Skyridge Tournament like copper Hills, Alta, Dixie just to name a few.
Top Performers
6’0 Quincy Hills Quincy Hills 6'0" | PG Copper Hills | 2022 State UT || Copper Hills High School || 2022 ||
Quincy was in his bag last night as he is showing off what it is to be a facilitating/pass first PG that will take advantage of what the defense gives him. Really like his down hill speed on the break. Quincy has great vision and the changing of speed keeps his defenders off balance. He had himself a complete game last night.
6’2 Risko Brooks Risko Brooks 6'1" | CG Dixie | 2022 State UT || Dixie High School || 2022 ||
This prospect is for real. He has done it against every level of school and the result is the same 20+ points every night. Risko had a good matchup with another college bound guard and not only did he get the better of the matchup but he got the victory. He will have another good matchup today.
Davis Tournament
6’4 Rex Sundeland || Davis High School || 2022 ||
Rex had himself a night as he went off for 25 as Davis continues to plow through any team in their way. Rex has been solid but this is a game that he really got loose and going. Rex is a D1 prospect with offer and he is playing like he is looking for more.
6’4 Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT || Olympus High School || 2024 ||
Talk about a kid having a coming out party. Jordan is having a big season and he is a player that schools need jump on this kid now before he blows up.
