Lake Norman Christian Senior PG Khalil Marshall Khalil Marshall 6'1" | PG Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC : In their matchup with Grace Christian on Saturday evening he saw an increase in playing time and was very productive. He defended at a nice level , coming up with high amount of steals and forced turnovers throughout the evening.
Northwood Temple Junior Guard Cannon Keziah Cannon Keziah 6'1" | CG Northwood Temple Academy | 2023 State NC : As each game passes, he continues to make his case as one of the top three point shooters on the east side of the state. He found his rhythm early on once again during this event and was instrumental in NWT getting the win on Friday night.
Grace Christian Junior Guard Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC : There is plenty to like about the 6’3 Combo Guard prospect. He has the ability to score the ball at a nice level but is not the type of player that interrupts the flow of the team offense to get his own offense going. He has some of the physical tools that you love to see such as his height and long wingspan but most importantly he seems like a player that flat out loves to compete and gives it everything he has on the court.
Good Better Best Junior Guard Trey Boyd Trey Boyd 6'4" | SG South Kent | 2023 State NC : With his team struggling to get going scoring wise, he brought some offensive production to the court. He has a smooth shooting stroke and displayed the ability to break down defenders off the dribble. The next step for him will be to continue to add to his upper body strength, this will only help him to be able to embrace and finish thru contact at a high level.
The Rock School Freshman Guard Evan Sterck: It’s truly impressive to see a player his age that plays with the maturity and confidence that we saw from him over the weekend. He knocked down shots from outside, finished inside the paint and was instrumental in their win on Saturday.
CBA Senior Wing Aliou Cisse: The 6’5 slasher is still what we would call a raw talent but he put together a big time performance in their matchup with Vertical. He excelled by making plays in transition and using his athleticism to finish above the rim offensively.
