JaQuante Harris | 6’1” PG | Northwood Temple
Harris was huge for Northwood Temple as they went 2-0 on the weekend and he was the straw that stirred the drink for them. A very dynamic guard, Harris is a natural athlete who can play way above the rim, he brings it on both ends and sets the tone for his group and he’s able to create shots for himself and others with ease. He put up big numbers in both games and looks like he’s one of the best available guards in the state.
Bradlee Wolf Bradlee Wolf 6'8" | C Northwood Temple Academy | 2023 NC | 6’8” PF | Northwood Temple
Wolf showed a lot of potential and was excellent in Northwood’s second win over NC GBB Varsity helping them on both ends of the floor. He’s a good athlete who can run the floor and finish above the rim, he has a good skill set that includes the ability to make shots out to the elbows and defensively he can protect the rim and guard multiple positions.
Jaylen Killens-McIntyre | 6’4” WF | Northwood Temple
Killens-McIntyre is the x-factor for this Northwood group as he brings great energy on both ends of the floor and makes winning plays for his group. He has good size and plays with a great motor, he plays multiple positions and impacts the game across the board and he’s an excellent slasher and finisher around the rim.
Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | SF Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’1” CG | Fayetteville Academy
While Fayetteville Academy lost in their only game against Elevation Prep, Pearson had a lot of impressive moments with his high energy style of play and good athleticism where he made multiple highlight reel plays. He’s a high motor guy who sets the tone on both ends and makes a lot of hustle plays, he’s an explosive athlete who can play way above the rim and he has tons of potential with room to grow in his game moving forward.
Shane Fernald Shane Fernald 6'7" | PF Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’6” PF | Lake Norman Christian
Fernald is the x-factor for this Lake Norman group with his versatility and mismatch ability as a four/five with a perimeter skill set. He’s a big and strong post who can wall up and outmuscle guys in the paint, he can step out on the perimeter and make shots from deep and he’s a good passer on the perimeter and when he’s playing well they’re a much better team.
Christian Cornish Christian Cornish 6'5" | SF Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’4” WG | Lake Norman Christian
Cornish is another x-factor for Lake Norman that brings great energy on both ends of the floor and his energy and style of play is infectious to his group when he’s on the floor. He’s a big and athletic wing that gets up and down and thrives in transition, he brings it on the defensive end both guarding the ball and in help side where he’s a good rim protector and he’s always around the ball and in the right place at the right time.
