2022 UNSIGNED Prospects
Colin McKenzie Colin McKenzie 6'5" | SG First Baptist | 2022 State SC – First Baptist (Charleston) (pictured on front)
McKenzie took home All-Tourney honors today here at the Shootout By the Sea. McKenzie a Shooting Guard-Wing has good range on his shot. Colin helped the Hurricanes to a (3-0) weekend at North Myrtle Beach HS. Colin brings good versatility to floor for the Hurricanes.
Adonis Cole Adonis Cole 6'0" | SG First Baptist | 2022 State SC – First Baptist (Charleston)
Cole was able to capitalize on some mid-range jumpers when he wasn’t finishing around the cup. Adonis had 16 points today according to my unofficial stats in a win over Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach. Cole is the younger brother of current Coastal Carolina University player Vince Cole.
Marcus Saunders Marcus Saunders 6'2" | SG Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2022 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Saunders another All-Tourney selection came out firing from downtown for the Saints. Saunders finished with 18 points mostly behind the three-point line. Saunders is new to the Saints roster this season after transferring in from nearby Conway Christian.
Fisher Darden Fisher Darden 6'2" | CG Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2022 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Darden plays on the ball a lot for the Saints. Fisher has good size and court vision to play the lead guard position. Darden won’t hesitate one second when it comes to taking a charge on the floor or diving for a loose ball. COUNT FISHER IN.
2023 Class Prospects
Matty Foor Matty Foor 6'1" | PG First Baptist | 2023 State SC – First Baptist (Charleston)
Foor got to the basket all day long it seems for the Hurricanes. Foor had 21 points according to my stats and several trips to the deck and bruises along the way. Matty showed good control on the way to the basket along with absorbing contact all day long. He does a good job of rebounding the ball well from the guard position.
Vytas Nausedas Vytas Nausedas 6'5" | SF Cape Fear Academy | 2023 State NC – Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC)
Vytas an All-Tourney selection really likes to bully defenders on the way to the basket. Vytas a strong mismatch guy really looks to overpower his way to the basket. Vytas will step-out and knockdown some perimeter jumpers. The Hurricanes defeated the host North Myrtle Beach HS Chiefs today 57-46.
2025 Class Prospects
Jamie Brooks Jamie Brooks 6'6" | C Atlantic Collegiate Academy | 2025 State SC – North Myrtle Beach HS
Brooks is getting plenty of playing time at the varsity level for the Chiefs and Head Coach Ryan Walker. Brooks has had several games this season already recording a double-double. Jamie a post player can step-out to the elbow and knockdown the jumper from time to time.
Brayden Hendrix Brayden Hendrix 6'0" | CG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Hendrix looks to be part of the future plans for the Saints basketball program. Brayden takes good percentage shots while on the floor and always seems to be pocket ready to receive the ball.
