Sam Brown Sam Brown 6'3" | CG Lower Merion | 2023 State PA – 6’3” / Junior / Lower Merion / Philly Pride Gold / Shooting Guard: LM is off to a 2-0 start without the service of big man Demetrius Lilley Demetrius Lilley 6'8" | PF Lower Merion | 2022 State PA (Penn State) and the main reason is Brown’s vastly improved scoring off the dribble. His new, creative dribble drive moves combined with his annual high percentage three-point shooting have led to games of 30 and 27 points.
Jackson Hicke Jackson Hicke 6'5" | SF Radnor | 2023 State PA – 6’4” / Junior / Radnor / SJ Hoops Elite-Gray / Shooting Guard: Impressive three-level scoring by Hicke has produced a 20 ppg. on 50% shooting from the field stat line for him and a 2-0 start for Radnor. Included in his hot start to the 2021-22 season was a 20 and 12 double-double in a win over Penncrest.
Moses Hipps Moses Hipps 6'4" | SG AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ – 6’1” / Sophomore / Archbishop Carroll / Team Final EYBL / Point Guard: Starting back in July, Hipps began showing that he is one of best scoring point guards in the state of Pennsylvania. That trend has continued here during Carroll’s successful start (3-0) to the 2021-22 high school season. Hipps has posted games of 26 and 21 points as well as 14 points and 8 rebounds in win over Norristown
TJ Lamb – 6’4” / Junior / Episcopal Academy / Chester County Storm / Small Forward: EA may be struggling out of the gate this season (1-4), but Lamb’s elite athleticism (He also plays football and is committed to Cornell for lacrosse.), scoring touch and rebounding skills have been on full display. Most recently Lamb recorded 16 points against an incredibly talented Devon Prep squad. He is averaging 11.7 ppg., 5.6 rpg., and 2 steals per game.
Zavier Mayo Zavier Mayo 6'4" | CG Phoenixville | 2022 State PA – 6’4” / Senior / Phoenixville / PSB Philly / Combo Guard: Coming out of the Comp Edge Fall League we warned you that Mayo’s length, quickness, athleticism, and versatility would be a real matchup problem for opponents. We also predicted that he would be a serious POY candidate in the Pioneer Athletic Conference. So far, our predictions are looking solid as early on Mayo is hitting for 19 ppg.
Anthony McCall Anthony McCall 6'3" | CG Academy of New Church | 2022 State PA – 6’4” / Senior / Academy of New Church / We R1 / Wing: McCall is a true scoring wing who can get buckets in so many ways. He tipped off the 2021-22 season with a 26 points & 13 rebounds performance vs. a SCHA lineup that is full of college prospects. As a bonus to his usual impressive scoring, early on this season he is rebounding the ball at a much higher level . McCall currently boasts 19.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3 blocks per game as his stat line. That has helped ANC to a 5-0 start.
Lucas Orchard Lucas Orchard 6'4" | SF Devon Prep | 2023 State PA – 6’3” / Junior / Devon Prep / SJ Hoops Elite-Gray / Wing: Already one of the most versatile players in the Philadelphia Catholic League, this past summer Orchard displayed a drastically improved offensive game. So, we were not shocked that he opened this season with 20 points (4 threes); 9 assists; and 7 steals in a win over SCHA. He followed up that impressive performance with 23 points in a win over Episcopal Academy.
