Gary Williams II Gary Williams II 6'5" | SG GRACE Christian | 2022 State NC | GRACE Christian | 2022
Williams showed poise, especially in the second half, as a rebounder, defender in the paint and shooter on the perimeter for the Eagles as they got a big win to get their fifth victory on the young season. He finished with 22 points, six made 3-pointers including a big 3-pointer to extend their lead to four points with 28.6 seconds left. He’s finding his way as a do-it-all guy on the floor with his unselfishness.
Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | GRACE Christian | 2023
King was another impressive piece in the GRACE Christian backcourt with 18 points in their victory over Covenant Day School. He continues to impress with his ability to get to his spots in the midrange area and in the paint to make his presence felt. He’s an active defender that GRACE utilizes as well. He’s a 6-foot-3 guard to keep an eye on in the 2023 class.
Myles Pettis Myles Pettis 5'10" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | GRACE Christian | 2023
Pettis has really come into his own at the point guard role, playing facilitator and getting guys into their spots on the offensive end of the ball. When he’s making sure the ball is moving, this is a tough squad to defend with so many weapons on the floor. He’s a strong lead guard that can defend as well.
Yashiya Crespin Yashiya Crespin 6'6" | SF GRACE Christian | 2022 State NC | GRACE Christian | 2022
Crespin is coming into his own as a role player off the bench. When the team needed a big bucket or rebound, Crespin was there each and every time. He finished with just five points, all in the fourth quarter, but it was his veteran presence and ability to make plays around the paint that made him stand out. He’s a late-bloomer to keep an eye on in 2022.
Marcus Brown Marcus Brown 6'4" | CG JL Chambers | 2023 State NC | Covenant Day School | 2023
Brown is a smooth operator on the floor that can shoot the basketball. He opened the game with 12 points, showing off his prowess as a creator off the bounce in space. He’s got good length and athleticism he uses well to make an impact when he’s on the floor. He’s a name to know in the 2023 class as a LM/MM prospect.
Iffy Ufochukwu Iffy Ufochukwu 6'10" | C Covenant Day | 2022 State NC | Covenant Day School | 2022
Iffy showed off his ability to protect the rim, be a presence in the paint and move around the floor with 16 points, despite the result. He knocked down a total of seven free throws to show off his ability to make teams pay when fouling him around the rim. He’s set to improve the Boston University frontcourt in no time.
