#16 Caelum Harris Caelum Harris 6'6" | SF Stewarts Creek | 2024 FL (Stewarts Creek)
Caelum is a tantalizing mixture of production and potential. He does not dominate every night out, but it happens enough to ensure he will be a star at the big school level shortly. Caelum was deservingly, though easily the youngest player, named to the PrepHoopsTN Preseason D8-4A All-District First Team! Alabama A&M and Tennessee State University both offered him before his sophomore season began.
#17 Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN (Brentwood Academy)
Blazing quickness. Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN is 1-1 in State Tournament games. That sounds like a a soft clinking of crystal flutes for a player with three postseason Marchs remaining. March fifth, 2021 Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN earned a Top 20 ranking debut on PrepHoopsTN when he manufactured 22 points in a fantastic win over a senior-laden Christian Brothers team. These teams did not defeat Christian Brothers last season: Ensworth, Bartlett twice, MUS, Briarcrest Christian twice, Olive Branch, ECS with Kameron Jones, Collierville, Lipscomb Academy with Raymon Adams. You know who did beat Christian Brothers last year? A freshman point guard named Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN . In the 2021 State Championship Game, Tanner equaled Trent McNair Trent McNair 6'4" | SG Brentwood Academy | 2022 State TN for most minutes played (31), though he did shoot terribly from the field (0-5) and commit three turnovers and four fouls. It was not a sparkling display of his potential, but it was invaluable experience.
#18 Tre Davis Tre Davis 6'0" | SG Houston | 2024 State TN (Lausanne)
Trey is a wonderful height for a college guard. Where are his skills now and where do they project to be later? Davis can score on all three levels, though he certainly needs to become more consistent as a shooter. Everybody does at his age. His change of direction is teetering on elite for a 6-foot-3 high school guard. Defensively, Tre will gamble a bit, but he seems to be pretty calculated with the gambles. There are small mistakes regarding helping too much, but he plays hard on both ends and plays for his team. He does not have any glaring weaknesses or holes in his game on either side of the floor.
#19 Braxton Jumper Braxton Jumper 6'1" | CG 1 of 1 Prep | 2024 State NC (Whitehaven)
Key scorer for Whitehaven, the state’s #2 team.
#20 Casey Williams Casey Williams 6'8" | PF Norcross | 2024 State GA (Oakland)
Oakland High School won 5 games last year. All teams can be forgiven for underperforming during that impossibly winter. Still, the Patriots are already 80% of the way to last season’s win total and the season is still in its infancy. Casey Williams Casey Williams 6'8" | PF Norcross | 2024 State GA is a big part of the success OHS and new Head Coach Dyron Birdwell are achieving. Athletic.
