PROSPECTS TO WATCH
Devon Fielding Devon Fielding 6'1" | PG La Crosse Central | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – La Crosse Central
One of the best-kept secrets in the state, Fielding has emerged into a very intriguing Division 3, potentially Division 2 prospect. A floor general who’s also a plus athlete, Fielding has some scary above the rim ability and is also a consistent threat from 3-point and mid-range. Fielding is averaging 14 points per game to lead a balanced River Hawks squad.
Bennett Fried Bennett Fried 6'6" | SF La Crosse Central | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SF – La Crosse Central
Fried is off to a slow start this season, but certainly one of the more intriguing talents in the 2023 class. The 6-foot-6 wing can shoot the rock, especially off the bounce, and is a terrific athlete in the open floor. A raw, high-upside talent, Fried has steadily been getting better and better over the last two years.
Arhman Lewis Arhman Lewis 5'9" | PG Madiosn Laffollette | 2023 State WI – 2023 – PG – Madison La Follette
A wizard with the ball in his hands, Lewis has some of the best creativity and speed on the ball in the state. The junior guard is putting up around 12 points per game this season. Simply put, get the ball in his hands and Lewis will make things happen.
Quinton Lomack Quinton Lomack 6'1" | CG Madison La Follette | 2024 WI – 2024 – PG – Madison La Follette
One of the top sophomores in the state, Lomack is a big, physical, athletic guard who can get downhill and live around the rim. Part of an undefeated Lancer squad, Lomack is averaging around 11 points per game, one of four La Follette players averaging in double figures this season.
Jaden Schutt – 2022 – SG – Yorkville Christian
Fans will get their money’s worth with Schutt. The Duke commit is one of the top pure shooters in the country. Schutt is more than a shooter though. The 6-foot-5 guard is a bouncy athlete that defends, can facilitate, and make hustle plays that change the momentum of games. He’s always capable of dropping 30 points or more, but Schutt will more often than not deliver all-around efforts to go with it.
Max Weisbrod Max Weisbrod 6'1" | CG Deforest | 2022 State WI – 2022 – G – DeForest
Committed to Division 2 Northern Michigan, Weisbrod can flirt with a triple-double on any given night. Weisbrod is averaging 25 points, seven assists, and six rebounds per game for the undefeated Norskies. A high-IQ talent that plays mistake-free basketball and makes winning plays, few prospects in the state mean more to their teams than Weisbrod…if any.
