Brady Corso Brady Corso 6'2" | SG Neenah | 2024 State WI – 2024 – G – Neenah
The Rockets had a balanced scoring attack and Corso certainly did his part. The sophomore guard chipped in with 13 points, including two 3-pointers late in the second half that helped keep Pewaukee at bay. Corso also got to the foul line eight times and dished out two assists. The 6-foot guard did an excellent job on the defensive glass as well, grabbing six boards. A shooter with some sneaky athleticism, Corso can free himself off the ball. He didn’t show it Thursday, but Corso is a plus athlete for his size and can get above the rim. Think he’s got some skills that will come out more next year when Neenah graduates a strong senior class, including some break-you-down ability on the ball and point guard skills.
Chevalier Emery Jr Chevalier Emery Jr 6'1" | PG Neenah | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Neenah
Emery knew he was going to be defended tough and he responded. The Merrimack commit did exactly what you have to do in order to beat a team like Pewaukee — take high quality shots, value the basketball, get to the line, and when the defense makes a rare mistake, make them pay. Emery scored a game-high 24 points, shooting a blistering 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Emery also dished out two assists and was 6-of-7 from the free throw line. You don’t want to get into a track meet with Pewaukee. Emery dictated tempo really well and often passed on a lot of shots he’d normally take, make the Pirates defend for a minute, and then score later in the possession.

Ashton Janowski Ashton Janowski 6'1" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – Pewaukee
Janowski had a team-high 19 points for the Pirates. The senior guard has tremendous ability to shoot on the go, whether it’s in transition or just one or two dribbles in the halfcourt. Kind of ran out of gas in the second half and missed some routine looks, but Janowski was definitely trying to carry a struggling Pewaukee squad to the finish line as the Pirates just weren’t able to get in their usual rhythm. Janowski is so good off the dribble, whether it’s his mid-range game or utilizing change of speed/direction to get to the rim. He’s not a plus athlete, but Janowski plays like it with as many high percentage shots he’s able to create. Headed to Hillsdale, Janowski is one of many pickups for the Chargers that could have gone D1.
Eli Schmidt Eli Schmidt 6'5" | SF Neenah | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SF – Neenah
Schmidt did a little bit of everything in Thursday’s win. Neenah will get Schmidt the ball in different parts of the floor and let him be a decision maker. He only took two shots, but came up with 11 points, five rebounds, and two assists. A potentially sneaky good steal for a Division 3 program, Schmidt has been a role player most of his career, but plays that role very well. Not a guy that may do anything on the floor at an elite level, but he’s very well-rounded with few holes in his game. A 6-foot-5 swingman who can shoot it from three, facilitate, rebound, defend multiple positions, and has some surprising athletic ability as well, Schmidt is one of the top glue guy prospects in the 2022 class.
J.J. Paider J.J. Paider 6'7" | PF Neenah | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PF – Neenah
Every time we see Paider, seems like he’s added something new to his game. The senior forward facilitated the ball really well and had three first half assists alone. He also was able to work his way across the lane and finish with the left. Paider had a big defensive effort as well, slowing down Pewaukee’s star forward in the first half. Paider did a little bit of everything on Thursday, tallying 10 points (4-6), 10 rebounds, five assists, and a block. Those kinds of stat lines are invaluable and you don’t see them much from late bloomers are still just scratching the surface. The Rockets were also +20 with him on the floor, a team-best. Paider is 6-foot-8, long, bouncy, mobile, and is now developing versatility in his offensive arsenal. Won’t shoot it a ton from the outside, but it’s definitely there. Love his hands in traffic and ability to get off the ground quickly as well. After a year in a collegiate strength and conditioning program, along with some skill work, he could be a huge steal for a WIAC program.
Josh Terrian Josh Terrian 6'4" | SF Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SF – Pewaukee
With his future school in the building, the Michigan Tech commit scored 13 points, grabbed six rebounds, and a steal. Terrian got Pewaukee off to a great start, scoring nine quick points to throw the game’s first punch. Just like the do-it-all ability from Terrian. He’s one of the most blue collar prospects in this 2022 class and the state in general. Even if he’s not scoring, you’re feeling him on the floor. Defensively, he’s just a matchup you don’t look forward to as an offensive player. He’s going to make you work for everything you get, he can guard multiple positions, and you’re gonna be exhausted after 38 minutes.
