Britton Dutton Britton Dutton 6'0" | SG Argo Comm | 2023 State KS , 6’2 Point Guard, Ellinwood, 2023: Dutton, one of the premier scorers from the guard position in Kansas, went off to start the year off, dropping a 41 point game in a win on Monday night. Dutton filled it up from behind the arc, off the dribble on the attack, using screens, and getting to the foul line. Game by game can and will put on the complete package scoring the basketball. Early candidate for performance of the year from the 2023 guard with this 41 point outing.
Noah Simmons Noah Simmons 6'8" | C Valley Center | 2022 State KS , 6’8 F, Valley Center, 2022 (Pictured): The big fella had a very efficient and dominant outing for Valley Center in their win. Having a much larger role on the offensive end for VC this year, he did not disappoint going 7 of 10 from the field and finishing with 16 points. He had 7 rebounds and 2 assists as well in the game. Great feel in the post and painted area, finished well off dump downs and off post feeds. Still remains a tremendous defender from the forward position.
Hector Gomez, 5’7 G, Macksville, 2025: The freshman guard is off to amazing start to his high school career averaging 16 points per game in the first two including dropping 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting and 5 of 6 from the 3 point line. Gomez is looking to become a freshman name to watch the rest of this season as Macksville is a small town team to watch early on.
Alexis Barron, 6’2 G, Macksville, 2023: Gomez’s older running mate in the back court, Barron is also averaging roughly 16 points again and is being very efficient in his scoring. Scored 21 points in the win last night on 7 of 10 shooting and knocking down 2 threes as well. Barron is a potential stock riser in the 2023 class from the guard spot.
