Jacob Tucker Jacob Tucker 6'3" | SG Fairdale | 2024 State KY , Fairdale – The Sophomore wing is one of the best players in Louisville but gets overlooked a lot for whatever reason. Fairdale blew out Marion County in their opening game and Tucker put up a strong stat line of 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the win. He had 20 points at half with limited second half playing time.
Reed Sheppard Reed Sheppard 6'3" | PG North Laurel | 2023 State #22 Nation KY , North Laurel – The Kentucky bound Junior guard had a big opening night at KOB with 15 points, 14 assists, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 steals. Reed also had 11 turnovers in the game so he was far from flawless but had a strong showing and did all the things his team needed from him to secure the win and move on.
Jack Scales Jack Scales 5'11" | SG North Oldham | 2023 State KY , North Oldham – Scales came on my radar after seeing him in the Mustangs win over Western last week. The 6’1 or so shooting guard could be considered an elite catch and shoot player based on what I’ve seen. On Friday he went 6/9 from three and ended up with a team high 24 points in a 25 point win over Dunbar. Jack is shooting exactly 50% from three on the season and making over 3 per game.
Jerone Morton Jerone Morton 6'3" | SG George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY , GRC – The 6’3 Junior made a statement with a 30 point game in a win over nationally ranked Lake Highland out of Alabama. The lefty wing scored the ball at all 3 levels and had a thunderous dunk in transition to bring the gym to life. He also added 9 rebounds for the Cards.
Kaleb Glenn Kaleb Glenn 6'7" | SF La Lumiere | 2023 #64 Nation IN , Male – Kaleb has to be one of the most dependable players in the state. You know what you’re going to get from the big forward every night out. On Friday, Glenn scored 25 and pulled down 8 rebounds in limited playing time of a big win over Belfry.
Colin Porter Colin Porter 5'11" | PG Ashland | 2022 State KY , Ashland – Another top Junior in the state, Porter brought Ashland back against Lyon County and controlled the game with his ball handling and distribution. Colin excels at drawing fouls and got to the free throw line where he was 8/8 for the game. The Liberty bound point guard also had an impressive 12 assists in Friday’s win.
