I headed over to Fort Lauderdale High School to watch the Flying L’s take on the Flanagan Falcons. It was the first home game for new Fort Lauderdale head coach Stefan Whittingham. The visiting Falcons spoiled the party with a 73-65 win. Flanagan has a solid core of players as you will see by reading below.

Let’s look at some standouts...

Kemani Wilson Kemani Wilson 6'7" | PF Flanagan | 2022 State FL - Flanagan

I thought 2022 Kemani Wilson Kemani Wilson 6'7" | PF Flanagan | 2022 State FL was the best player on the floor on this night. The 6-foot-6 wing scored a game-high 23 points and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers. Wilson made an array of tough shots and used his body to power his way to the rim. Specifically, his step-back was on point. I would qualify him as a three-dimensional scorer. Wilson is also extremely athletic in transition. In addition, I think has the body to score with his back to the basket in certain situations. I thought he should have gotten the ball during a few plays around the block. Per information, Wilson is averaging 15.8 points and ten rebounds per game.

Myles Hurt - Flanagan

I thought 2022 Myles Hurt played excellent defense against the Flying L’s. The
