Connor Turnbull Connor Turnbull 6'9" | PF Ft. Zumwalt North | 2022 State MO 6’10″ Fort Zumwalt North: The Butler recruit had a big performance against Whitfield at both ends of the court. He finished with 33 points, nine rebounds and six blocks. He did it all while facing double and triple teams throughout the game.
Kellen Thames Kellen Thames 6'6" | SG Pattonville | 2022 State MO 6’6″ Pattonville: The Saint Louis U. recruit had 29 points, seven rebounds and three assists in the Pirates one-point loss to Troy. After a slow first half, he erupted for 23 points in the second half to rally the Pirates back from a double-digit deficit. His main weapon on Friday was the mid-range jumper, which he made repeatedly.
Brandon Mitchell-Day Brandon Mitchell-Day 6'8" | SF MICDS | 2022 State MO 6’8″ MICDS: The Dartmouth recruit scored a team high 12 points in the Rams victory over Fort Zumwalt South, but he was especially dominant on the defensive end as he had four blocked shots and four steals. His defensive instincts were in point as he guarded multiple positions and put himself in the right position to make plays.
Nathan Ryan Nathan Ryan 6'2" | SF Troy | 2022 State MO 6’3″ Troy: The solid forward had 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the Trojans victory over Pattonville. He was very resourceful around the basket as he attacked the basket well and scored on goof off-ball cuts.
Champ Johnson 5’11″ Pattonville: The speedy combo guard scored 17 points against Troy. He was at his best when he was attacking the basket with his quickness and strength. He was an excellent finisher at the rim as he could double pump and twist and contort his body in traffic.
Joey Friedel 5’11” Fort Zumwalt South: A solid all-around guard who scored 11 points against MICDS. He has it working from long distance as he knocked down three 3-pointers. He moves well without the basketball and has solid handles.
