Hamilton Southeastern @ North Central
Hamilton Southeastern enters tonight’s contest with a 2-2 record after back-to-back wins last weekend. They are led by a couple of players having breakout seasons in senior wing Sam Jacobs Sam Jacobs 6'4" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2022 State IN and junior forward Reph Stevenson Reph Stevenson 6'7" | PF Hamilton Southeastern | 2023 State IN . Jacobs is averaging 22.3 points per game while Stevenson contributes 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds a night. North Central is 3-1 fresh off of a big home win over Crispus Attucks. Joey Brown Joey Brown 6'6" | SG North Central | 2023 State #280 Nation IN , Blake Fleming, and Mason Lewis Mason Lewis 5'9" | PG Crispus Attucks | 2024 State IN look to lead the way for the Panthers.
Arsenal Tech @ Anderson
This is a battle of the unbeaten. Both Arsenal Tech and Anderson are sitting at a perfect 3-0 entering tonight’s matchup. Senior guard Reggie Bass Reggie Bass 6'4" | SG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State #175 Nation IN is stuffing the state sheet with averages of 22 points, 5 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per night. Dayveon Turner Dayveon Turner 5'11" | PG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN and Rasheed Jones Rasheed Jones 6'6" | SF Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN have been great so far as well averaging 17.3 and 15.7 points per game respectively. For Anderson, it has been junior guard Ahmere Carson Ahmere Carson 6'2" | PG Anderson | 2023 State IN putting together a spectacular start to the season. Carson is averaging 24.7 points per game while classmate Jaquan Ingram Jaquan Ingram 6'3" | SG Anderson | 2023 State IN is adding 14 points. This should be a fun, fast-paced affair.
New Albany @ Floyd Central
For our friends down in southern Indiana, we have a classic matchup between Floyd Central and New Albany this evening. Floyd Central is 2-0 after last Saturday’s exciting 64-60 overtime victory over Evansville Harrison. If you haven’t seen the clip, big man Wesley Celichowski Wesley Celichowski 7'0" | C Floyd Central | 2022 State IN hit a Christian Laettner type shot to send the game to overtime before the Highlanders escaped with a victory. Junior wing Caleb Washington Caleb Washington 6'5" | PF Floyd Central | 2023 State IN is off to a good start as well. For the Bulldogs of New Albany, they are coming off of a tough overtime loss to the state’s number one team Zionsville. New Albany is 2-2 on the season.
Warren Central @ Cathedral
To call Cathedral’s early season schedule a gauntlet would be an understatement. They were tripped up last Saturday by Brush High School, one of the top teams in Ohio. However, the Irish are still 3-1 and will enter another very tough double weekend facing Warren Central and Covington Catholic from Kentucky. They are led by Tayshawn Comer Tayshawn Comer 6'0" | PG Cathedral | 2022 State #226 Nation IN who is averaging 14.8 points and 5 assists per ball game. Warren Central is 1-2 with losses coming to Arsenal Tech and Woodward (OH). Louisville signee D’Ante Davis D’Ante Davis 6'7" | SF Warren Central | 2022 State #132 Nation IN is the one to watch for the Warriors.
Zionsville @ Lawrence Central
After a big home win over rival Lawrence North on Wednesday night, the Lawrence Central Bears don’t get any sort of rest on the schedule. They turn around this evening and are rewarded with a date with Class 4A #1 ranked Zionsville. After his big 27 point performance on Wednesday, junior wing Kamari Jones Kamari Jones 6'4" | SG Lawrence Centra (IN) / Hilcrest Prep (AZ) | 2023 IN is up to 16.3 points per game followed by D’John Craig and Joshua Mickens Joshua Mickens 6'4" | PF Lawrence Central | 2023 State IN at 12.5 and 10.3 points per game. Zionsville is led by junior Logan Imes Logan Imes 6'4" | PG Zionsville | 2023 State #202 Nation IN and senior forward Isaiah Davis Isaiah Davis 6'9" | PF Zionsville | 2022 State IN who is having a strong season.
