Dell Rapids has a new head coach this season so there will be some unknowns about what style of play and what schemes they will be running this year. The Quarriers play in Region-3A and they will be looking for another successful postseason. Read below for a brief overview of the Quarriers.
State Tournament 2021
In the opening round #8 Dell Rapids took down #1 Vermillion by a score of 53-52. In the semifinals, Dell Rapids lost to eventual State Champion Sioux Falls Christian by a score of 64-52. In the 3rd place game, Dell Rapids lost 69-60 to an excellent Dakota Valley team. It was a very good season for the Quarriers. It is every coach and player’s dream to get to the State Tournament and to play on the biggest stage. Dell Rapids will be hoping for another State Tournament appearance this season.

He will be the catalyst, playmaker, and leader for the Quarriers.
Shane Stone (2022) |6-8 C|
He will the workhorse and a blue-collar player for the Quarriers. Shawn is also a great vocal leader.
Aiden Boechler (2022) |6-2 SG|
He will lead the team as a defensive stopper. Aiden is also very gifted in the transition game.
Victor Knuppe (2022) |6-2 SG|
He will be a Spiritual leader and motivator until his injury heals.
Brayden Pankonen Brayden Pankonen 5'11" | PG Dell Rapids | 2023 State SD (2023) |5-9 PG|
He is one of the best 3-point shooters in all of SD. Brayden is ultra-quick with a sweet pull-up. He is also a tough on-ball defender and a creator on offense.
