December is upon us and basketball in the Gem State has been proving to be all sorts of wonderful! As teams begin to play their first games against non-conference opponents, many great competitions have already been played and even more are on tap for the coming days and weeks. Across the state, high-level matchups are taking place as early-season favorites are showing their skills and abilities to handle and dominate on both ends of the floor. As the season continues to ramp up in the next few weeks, watch for the best players and teams to rise to the top of the food chain. Moscow vs. Kellogg: Moscow was able to secure a non-conference victory over Kellogg thanks to a balanced attack on both ends of the floor. Jamari Simpson led all scorers with 22 points, most of which came from the three-point line.
