James Moore James Moore 6'9" | PF Olympus Prep | 2024 State #237 Nation NJ , 6’9 Patrick School
Moore is capable of playing either the 3 or the 4, making him one of the most intriguing prospects in the Garden State. The 6’9 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor, finish around the basket and knock down perimeter jumpers. Moore isa good shot-blocker as he uses his combination of athleticism and length to swat shots. He runs the floor hard and skies for rebounds. Moore is a talented power forward prospect that will be a prospect to watch over the next couple of seasons.
Terry Copeland, 6’8 Bergen Catholic
Copeland is a post prospect to watch in New Jersey as he can impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’8 forward has a burly frame, which he uses to get position down low and draw contact. Copeland is tough to box out on either end of the floor and has a nice touch around the basket. He is a good passer as he is able to find open teammates when he’s double teamed in the post. Copeland is a skilled power forward prospect who is in store for a big sophomore season.
Richard Brisco Richard Brisco 6'8" | C Hillcrest Prep | 2024 State AZ , 6’8 Roselle Catholic
Brisco is in store for a breakout campaign for the Lions as he gets more touches on the offensive end. The 6’8 forward knows how to get position down low and can draw contact close to the rim. Brisco finishes strong above the rim and sets good screens in the half court. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and blocks shots with his combination of timing, athleticism and size. Brisco is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential and should put his talent on display this season.
Maurice Vassel, 6’9 St. Benedict’s
Vassel joins a talented Gray Bees squad but will make an impact in his debut season. The lanky 6’9 forward runs the floor hard, creating easy opportunities for himself around the basket. Vassel has a nice touch around the basket and is developing his perimeter game. He uses his length to swat shots around the basket and is a solid rebounder. Vassel is a power forward to watch this season as he should get better as the seasons progresses.
Alex Konov Alex Konov 6'7" | PF Manasquan | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 Manasquan
Konov had a solid summer with Team Rio University and will look to carry over his strong play into the winter season. The Wildwood Catholic transfer has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Konov is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and moves well off the ball. Konov’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way in 2021-22.
