The basketball season is drawing closer every day and the excitement is palpable. Players are looking to maximize their games as they try to lead their teams as far as they can. The 2022 point guard crop is filled with talent as under the radar floor generals are looking to break out. Here are the under the radar 2022 point guards that are set to break out.

Vemula has been a key part of the Vikings’ offense over the last couple of seasons, but is ready for a leading role in his senior campaign. The 6’0 guard is not afraid of the big moment as he hit the game-winning layup in the 2020 Central Jersey Group 4 final. Vemula has a nice handle and does not force the issue in the half court. He moves his feet well on the offensive end and does not waste a lot of motion in his shooting form. Vemula’s ability to come up big in clutch situations is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.
