- With the departure of Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC to WSCS ,The Pine Forest Trojans will look to Senior Guard Tristan Harkins to pick up some of the load. Harkins has shown the ability to score the ball and lead a team so we don’t feel like he will have much of an issue transitioning into his new role.
- After a very impressive showing at the 9DIME Fall League, where they took home the league championship, Hoke County looks like a team that can be special this year. They bring back a squad with plenty of toughness and a rising star in Sophomore Guard Jaylen Sturdivant Jaylen Sturdivant 6'4" | CG Hoke | 2024 State NC .
- Greensboro Day will look to bounce back after being knocked out early in the state playoffs last year. The Bengals bring back plenty of talent which includes Senior Guards Nik Graves and Michael Zanoni Michael Zanoni 6'5" | SG Greensboro Day | 2022 State NC . Graves is the floor general for the team while Zanoni made his impact from three point range.
- Who will be the #1 player in the the state for the class of 2024? With Winston Salem Christian Guard Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC joining the 2024 class, he automatically places himself into consideration with Paul McNeil Paul McNeil 6'6" | SG Richmond County | 2024 State #172 Nation NC as the top player in NC 2024. McNeil currently hold several HM offers while Washington has picked up interest that should turn into offers sooner than later.
- Vertical Academy has some star power in Mikey Williams but Junior Guard Treymane Parker Treymane Parker 6'3" | CG OT Elite | 2023 #169 Nation GA has taken advantage of this opportunity to showcase his ability to the country and prove that he is a star as well. Parker has scored the ball at a very high level with multiple 40 point games, and has put his outstanding athleticism on display.
- Who will take the crown as the best team in the state? There are plenty of talented teams to keep an eye on this season with a few already showing how good they can be. Moravian Prep, Combine Academy and Liberty Heights are just a few of the programs to keep an eye on.
