The Garden State is filled with talent across all divisions. The Prep division has plenty of players that are set for big seasons, especially the ones who are unranked. Here are the top unranked prep prospects to watch this season.

Ladji Dembele, 6’8 PF St. Benedict’s 2023

The Grey Bees are always one of the top teams in the Garden State and they have a loaded frontcourt, including Dembele. The 6’8 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks in transition. Dembele fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is tough to keep off the glass. He uses his athleticism to swat shots on defense and is a solid post defender. Dembele is an athletic forward prospect who should have a big debut season for St. Benedict’s.

Emile Johnson, 6’10 PF/C Quality Academy Prep 2023

Johnson is one of the more intriguing prospects to watch in New Jersey due to his skillset. The lanky 6’10 forward is one of the top shot-blockers in the class with his combination of length and athleticism. Johnson has shown the potential to be a modern day big as he can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He
