While this is not too far from the truth, eastern Idaho is an entirely different kind of beautiful. Over there, the wind never seems to die down and there are few true mountains to fawn over. Though this is still the case, eastern Idaho makes up for its lack of beauty by featuring some of the best basketball players in the state. Brady Shaul Brady Shaul 5'10" | PG Bear Lake | 2023 State ID , Bear Lake: Brady will look to make a big impact for Bear Lake during the upcoming season as he also will step into a much larger role. Shaul has already proven himself to be a quality point guard who can really play at a high level and can score at ease. This season, he will look to improve on this ability while also expanding his scoring opportunities and shooting percentage. Watch for Brady to make leaps and bounds this season for Bear Lake.
Ryan Harris Ryan Harris 6'1" | CG Sugar-Salem | 2022 State ID , Sugar-Salem: Harris has made big strides in his all-around game recently and he will look to put those newfound skills on full display during the upcoming season. As a combo guard, Harris plays equal amounts away from the ball and with the ball in is hand and he is comfortable in both aspects. Ryan can shoot the ball really well and has expanded his ability to dribble the basketball and run an offensive set in order to make himself an even more diverse player. Watch for Ryan to have a great season of basketball.
Ryan Payne Ryan Payne 5'10" | SG Pocatello | 2022 State ID , Pocatello: Payne will look to have a breakout senior season at Pocatello now that he will finally have an opportunity to show his abilities to play at a high level across the board. Payne plays with a natural confidence and can do a little bit of everything whenever he is on the floor. He defends really well and utilizes quick lateral reactions to help him keep his defenders in front. Payne will do his best work for Pocatello this season after finally having an expanded role with increased responsibilities.
