The future University of Syracuse wing will be a major high school player to watch as he suits up for the Tigers this season. He is one of the best slashing wings in the country as he can play out in the perimeter and on the blocks. Really like his attack game and the ability to create. He’s got a Division 1 style of play already. Will be a major player in Wasatch Academy’s bid to get a deep run at the Geico Nationals.
6’5 Yaw Reneer Yaw Reneer 6'5" | CG American Fork | 2022 State UT || American Fork High School || 2022 ||
Yaw is a talented two way player that can defend at the highest level. Yaw can get after it against 1-4 players at any level. Playing defense is what keeps him on the floor, but his offensive game is nice too. Yaw has been shooting the ball well and he is money near the rim. Has the game to make a roster spot at the D1 level. Look for him to have big games and stat stuffing performances this year.
6’6 Henry Ihrig || Davis High School || 2022 ||
Henry will be a player that turns heads this season as his team will likely be one of the favorites to win the whole thing and repeat again. Henry has been developing his handle and quickness getting to the rim. He will be a tough cover. What is impressive about his game is that he has more developmental space to grow.
6’5 James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT || Timpview High School || 2023 ||
James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT will be surprising a lot of people with his athleticism this year as he has been putting in a lot of work. He is shooting the ball well and he is a high IQ player that takes what the defense gives him. Look for James to take a lot of the scoring on that was lost last season.
6’7 Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2024 ||
One of the best shooters in the Wets that has positional size. What makes Brody really good is his shooting ability but also that he still has plenty of room to add more to his bag. Brody is big and has the body to sit down on the post and he can also work on getting by defenders as he will be covered closely due to his shooting ability. Keep an eye on him at Corner Canyon.
