Cade Phillips Cade Phillips 6'8" | PF Jacksonville | 2023 AL 6’9 PF Jacksonville 2022
Phillips continues to prove his status as the top recruit in the state regardless of class. His athleticism and size are superior, and he has received a multitude of Power five offers. After a commanding debut with 19 points, 17 rebounds, followed by a double-double versus Spain Park Phillips was a no-brainer for this week’s list. Phillips uses his quick-twitch and vertical explosion to dominate transition, the boards, and stretching the defense horizontally as lob threat and cutter. He does an excellent job of making plays for others at the rim with dump-off passes when collapsing defenses. He competes high at the defensive end, using his wingspan to block shots at an elite level.

Tobias Stouturmire 6’6 PF 2023
Stoturmire is 6’6 Power forward who contributes with energy and effort. Stouturmire has established his calling card as an elite rebounder and double-double machine. While ranking second in the state in rebounds per game as a junior, he also contributes as an efficient scorer. He takes full advantage of his size with putbacks, rim runs, and rolls to the basket. In addition, he shows solid fundamentals when working in the paint by keeping the ball high and initiating contact.
Caleb Harrison 6’8 PF Huntsville 2024
Harrison posted a double-double in a matchup versus Plainview High. He also contributed in a challenging fought game against Lee. Though a sophomore, Harrison shows a level of maturity beyond his age. He continues to develop his timing and instincts on the defensive boards. Demonstrates an ability to stretch the floor from pick and pop situations in addition to stationary shooting.
Cody Baerlocher Cody Baerlocher 6'7" | SG Madison Academy | 2023 State AL 6’7 SF/PF Madison Academy 2023
Baerlocher is one of the more intriguing prospects in the state. He has a college-ready frame and an assortment of skills in his toolbox, making him one of the more versatile prospects in the state. Baerlocher has a sufficient handle which allows him to play the 2. His ability to catch and shoot makes him an asset in the backcourt. With solid footwork around the basket, he finishes at a high level close to the rim. Showed good instinct on the defensive end and used his length to clog passing lanes and protect the rim. Baerlocher could play three positions at the next level and succeed. It’ll be interesting to see how he uses his skill set to lead Madison Academy throughout the season.
Elliot Lidberg 6’8 PF Mountain View Christian 2023
Lidberg has quietly made a push towards a top spot within his class. Lidberg has a nostalgic game and plays like a traditional big. He works out of the post at a high level with drop steps, pump fakes, and a solid face-up game. Showed an ability to hit the mid-range and catch and shoot three consistently. He runs well in transition as a trailer and can rim run. In addition, he possesses excellent hands and balance for someone his size and could develop into a D1 prospect with a year of high-end competition and development.
