These players may only be sophomores this coming season, but each one of them have something special they can offer their respective teams, and I am excited to see how things unfold.
Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND – 6’3″/SG – Fargo North (Rank: #1)
Starting off with the top ranked player in the class of 2024 we have Fargo North guard Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND . As a freshman, Sem showed an extraordinary instinct to score the ball with a smooth shot, assortment of skilled dribble moves, and strong finishing at the rim. We also can’t forget about the division 1 level athleticism that he possess, with the ability to catch lobs or put a defender on a poster at any moment. Not only is Jeremiah one of the most exciting prospects to watch in the class, but I would argue that he is one of the most entertaining players in all of North Dakota.
Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND – 6’5″/PF – Fargo North (Rank #4)
Sticking with the Fargo North Spartans I introduce forward Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND . A tall and strong player for his age that is sure to be a top big man in the state for years to come. Some things that stick out when watching Carter include his impressive patience around the rim, strong finishing, and tough rebounding no matter who he is battling. I think its safe to say that the Spartans have a bright future with Zeller and Sem as their 1-2 punch.
Race Wilson Race Wilson 5'11" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2024 ND – 5’11″/SG – West Fargo Sheyenne (Rank: #9)
Moving onto West Fargo Sheyenne we have guard Race Wilson Race Wilson 5'11" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2024 ND . A play maker for the Mustangs that showcases impressive athleticism for his age, quickness on both ends of the floor, and a talented skill set. In the years to come I expect Wilson to emerge as a top guard in the conference along with keeping Sheyenne near the top of the ranks, a heavy task that I believe the sophomore will be ready for.
Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND – 6’0″/SG – Fargo Davies (Rank: #11)
Next up we’ve got Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND , a guard at Fargo Davies who brings nothing but entertainment to the basketball court. With intriguing athleticism, a sweet spot for transition, and his ability to set up teammates, I have no doubt that he will be a top player to watch for the next few years.
Carvin Fish Carvin Fish 6'8" | PF Tiospa Zina | 2024 State SD – 6’5″/SF – West Fargo Horace (Rank: #12)
This coming season the Horace Hawks are the new kids on the block in the Eastern Dakota Conference. Nothing to worry about when you’ve got guys like forward Carvin Fish Carvin Fish 6'8" | PF Tiospa Zina | 2024 State SD , a player who can give you a little bit of everything on the court. For his height, Fish can stroke it from deep and take the ball into the paint, something that is highly valued in todays basketball landscape. I believe that he will have a big impact on the Hawks from the get go, and will be a big help in guiding them as their journey in the EDC begins.
Kaden Christmann Kaden Christmann 6'1" | SG Fargo Shanley | 2024 ND – 6’0″/SG – Fargo Shanley (Rank: #13)
Adding onto the talent that the Shaley Deacons already possess is guard Kaden Christmann Kaden Christmann 6'1" | SG Fargo Shanley | 2024 ND . A player who impressed me with his array of dribble moves, ability to finish with both hands, and passing skills to find teammates in any situation. Christmann is a really tough kid that plays in attack mode, something that I think if used right can propel him as his career continues.
