Weber High School
Last season Weber had themselves a nice team that could compete on paper with anyone. This season they return a few pieces but they will rely heavily on their guards. Cannon Devries Cannon Devries 6'0" | PG Weber | 2022 State UT is no stranger to the spotlight as he was once an obscure athlete that played two sports at a high level. Cannon is now committed to play football at BYU and will be a major athlete that can be placed all over the field as well. On the hardwood Cannon is that speedy defender that could make life miserable for whomever he is defending. Cannon can score and with an improved jumper Cannon will use his high motor to help improve on what Weber did last season. The newcomer who the torch will be passed to is Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT who is a dynamic player in his own right as well. He is quick and he is athletic. With two players like this in the backcourt they could cause a lot of issues moving forward, especially because Hunter can shoot the ball with the best of them.
Fremont High School
Fremont has some kids coming back that can play, the position doesn’t matter that much they can just play. One of their young players is Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT who appears to be healthy and he looks strong and poised to have a big year. Hunter can score at all three-levels and he has some great IQ at such a young age. Look for him to play a better and bigger role this year. The other returning player that is strong and plays above his height is David Calvert David Calvert 6'6" | PF Fremont | 2023 State UT . David has a high motor and he is that player willing to do all the little things to help his team win. He will be another part in Fremont making a rebound from last season.
Hunter High School
Hunter has some nice pieces coming back and they start with Darius Henderson Darius Henderson 6'5" | PG Hunter | 2022 State UT an athletic guard that can handle the ball and play off-guard as well. He has that next level athleticism and decision making. Could be a major stock riser in the making. The kid that could help them out would be 6’9 Atticus Place Atticus Place 6'10" | C American Leadership Academy Queen Creek | 2022 AZ who saw limited minutes last season. He is big and could be a presence down low on both ends. Hunter has an opportunity to make this a year that they could make a run.
