Northridge has only won 9 games in the past two years but that is behind them now as the look to rebound from a tough few seasons and now they find themselves in 5A as they dropped from 6A. The player that has been there through it all has been Sam Suvulich. Sam is a dynamic scorer that could take over a game. Their new region will allow them to compete for a region title, so look for Northridge and company to really take a stride forward and double their winnings from last year. Sam will not be alone as Kade Sparrow Kade Sparrow 6'3" | CG Northridge | 2022 State UT is another tough guard that can score as well. Really impressed with what we have seen from Northridge this fall. Keep an eye on them.

Highland High School
In the past two years Highland has improved. They went from a 3 win team to a 9 win team in just one year. This season they will likely get to .500 with a new coach and a new system. Highland has some young pieces like Sefa Brown Sefa Brown 6'5" | SF Highland | 2024 State UT who can play physically with the best of them. Sefa is being highly recruited as a football player but he is a solid athlete on the basketball floor. Elijah Tolbert Elijah Tolbert 6'2" | PG Highland | 2022 State UT enters his senior year looking to take a better record into state and make have a shot at making a little run. Elijah can score off the bounce and he will need some time to get his legs back after playing football as well, but look for highland to rebound from last season.

Skyline High School
Last season Skyline underachieved a bit but this year they have some very tough guards that can absolutely score the ball. Yorgio has a solid frame that is quick and shifty and he moves a lot around the floor which makes him difficult to defend. He also provides a lot of shooting as well. Kolton Smith Kolton Smith 6'4" | SG Skyline | 2022 State UT is another shooter with size and big time shot making ability. This season he is going to need to step up and score at will. Kolton has some of the deepest range you will see in the Class of 2022. Peter Broadbent Peter Broadbent 6'2" | CG Skyline | 2023 State UT is another solid guard who plays consistent minutes and he does a little bit of everything out on the floor. Skyline has three guards on the floor that will stretch out teams. Playing zone against Skyline will be a mistake. Look for Skyline to rebound this year.
