He can shoot the ball from deep and makes plays off the dribble.
Richmond County Sophomore Guard Javian Drake Javian Drake 5'10" | PG Richmond Senior | 2024 State NC : A player that’s smaller in size but not in heart, he competes hard against whoever he’s matched up with and plays with confidence. His perimeter shooting is one of his stronger attributes as well as his overall toughness.
St. Pauls HS Junior Forward Marcus Galbreath: There is plenty to like about the 6’6 Forward with rebounding ability that protects the paint on defense. He understands what he does well and doesn’t try to play outside of his strengths. He’s expanding his game to the point now that he’s knocking down the trey ball at a decent rate.
Westover HS Senior Forward Ruben Rivera: He brings a much needed interior presence for the squad, scoring inside the paint and setting good screens for his guards is where he makes a nice impact. He doesn’t try to make plays outside his comfort zone and is solid on the defensive end of the floor.
Southern Lee HS Senior Guard Isaiah Bronson: He’s a new addition to the squad but seems to be finding his comfort level already. Showcasing his ability to break down defenders off the dribble, he got into the paint and made some plays throughout the day.
Hoke County Sophomore Wing Nehemiah McDonald: We liked what we saw from him throughout the day, he has good size, standing around 6’5 with a long wingspan. Although he made some plays inside, he also showed that he can step out and make some plays on both ends of the floor.
Washington HS Sophomore Guard Jerai Davenport: One of the leading scorers on the day, he stepped up and provided a nice amount of offense for his team. He plays with a high level of energy/intensity which translated into forced turnovers and transition offense.
