Makhi Rivers Makhi Rivers 5'10" | PG Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC (2023) – Oceanside Collegiate – Prep Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year
Rivers is back to lead the ship for the Landsharks. Makhi is a pesky little defender and has the ability to generate offense while being on the defensive end. Rivers averaged 12.3 ppg last season for the Landsharks. Rivers likes the ball in his hands at pressure moments and for sure plays the game with a good deal of confidence.
Miles Stickney Miles Stickney 6'5" | PF Oceanside Collegiate | 2022 State SC (2022) – Oceanside Collegiate
Stickney really showed some good improvement this past summer on the Grassroots Circuit. Miles doesn’t mind playing the game on contact and delivering a body blow at times. Stickney averaged 8 ppg and 5.8 rebounds last season.
Jordan Rivers Jordan Rivers 6'1" | CG Battery Creek | 2022 State SC (2022) and Jaeon Allen Jaeon Allen 6'2" | SF Battery Creek | 2022 State SC (2022) – Battery Creek HS
Rivers and Allen will look to lead the Dolphins this season to the postseason. Rivers averaged 11.9 ppg while Allen averaged 10.6 ppg and 5.4 rebounds last season. This duo is looking to make some noise in Region 8-AAA and along the Lowcountry this season.
William Hyatt (2022) and Gray Willits (2022) – Academic Magnet
Hyatt just finished the football season as the Quarterback for the Raptors. Hyatt 6’2 point guard averaged 12.4 ppg last season. Willits a wing player chipped in at 7.3 ppg last year.
Keith Bryant Keith Bryant 6'5" | PF Hanahan | 2023 State SC (2023) and Kit Cooper Kit Cooper 6'5" | PF Hanahan | 2022 State SC (2023) – Hanahan HS
The Hawks can only get better after last season. Keith Bryant Keith Bryant 6'5" | PF Hanahan | 2023 State SC a live active forward averaged 8.5 ppg last season. Bryant can play inside-out at times on the floor. Cooper will patrol the middle for the Hawks after last season averaging 5.1 ppg and 7 rebounds.
Malachi Stevens Malachi Stevens 6'4" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC (2023), Reid Warden Reid Warden 5'11" | SG Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC (2023) and Lukas Schou Lukas Schou 6'7" | PF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC (2023) – Oceanside Collegiate
Stevens is looking to have a Breakout Season for the Landsharks. Malachi showed some good showings this past summer at the SCBCA Camp in Rock Hill. Stevens will for sure pickup his stats from a season ago.
Warden and Schou bring more minutes and depth to a deep roster this season for Head Coach Quinton Hollis.
Amari Washington Amari Washington 6'5" | SF Stratford | 2024 State SC (2024) – North Charleston HS
Washington should make a major contribution to the new look Cougars this season. Washington comes in from nearby Fort Dorchester HS. Last season the Cougars played just 5 games and finished (1-4). Washington a rangy wing player can extend the defense with his perimeter shooting and has great length to play in the passing lanes.
