Finishing the game with 10 rebounds, he used his height and wingspan to pull down boards at a nice rate.
Fayetteville Academy Sophomore Guard Tyler Henderson: His three point shooting allowed him to get off to an outstanding start, knocking down three point shots which almost forces teams out of a zone defense. He does a nice job of setting his feet and getting his shot off fairly quickly before defenses can recover.
Minnesota Prep Academy Class of Freshman Guard Jalyn Patterson: He’s small in size but plays the game with a ton of heart and confidence. Getting minuets at a national high program as a 5’7 freshman is impressive, but the fact that he was productive while he was on the court is even more impressive. He knocked down shots from three point range with efficiency and didn’t force plays too often, displaying some nice maturity for such a young player.
Freedom Christian Freshman Guard Karsten Swinney: Although he still has a ways to go before we can call him a prospect, he showed some flashes of his talent on Friday night. He has a nice natural feel for the game, can shoot it well from three point land and made some good reads/passes throughout.
New Life Christian Freshman Guard Elijah McGhee: He was called on to play some major minuets down the stretch in their matchup with Freedom Christian as they had two players foul out in the fourth quarter. He didn’t shy away from the moment, dishing out 6 Assist while helping his team get the two point win.
New Life Christian Sophomore Guard Jaheim Faison: We didn’t get the opportunity to see him make his normal impact as he was plagued with foul trouble throughout their matchup with Freedom Christian. However he had some moments where he was able to show his scoring ability, finishing the game with 13 Points.
