Lane is an elite slasher at the point guard position who is one of the fastest players in the state. He has a fearless approach when it comes to attacking the rim. Can evade defenders with euros, stutter steps, and cradle layups. Lane possesses a wiry frame and an ability to finish at a high level of difficulty and contact. As a distributor, he shows to be a willing passer and creates for others by pushing in transition and getting into the teeth of the defense. On the defensive end, he’s a high-level defender. He uses his athleticism to bother ball handlers and disrupt an offense’s flown at the point of attack. Showed killer instinct when the game got too close for comfort by consistently attacking the basket and finding ways to finish.
Dexter Smith 6’2 SG
Smith is a solid Slasher with exceptional playmaking ability and is the glue guy for the Generals. Showed a knack for making plays for others off the bounce and making good decisions in pick and rolls. Defensively he does an excellent job of using his quick feet and long arms to stay in front of the ball and force the ball to move. Smith also contributed on both the defensive and offensive boards with effort, timing, and grit.
Huntsville
Deondre Chunn 5’8 PG
Chunn came off the bench with a high level of poise and confidence that kept Huntsville in the game. When dealing with full-court pressure, he was always in control and played at his pace. Does an excellent job of using hesitations to lull defenders to sleep and attacking when he sees an opening. He uses his stocky frame to shield off defenders when finishing at the rim. Chunn showed an ability to lead an offense and play off-ball as an undersized 2. He also took on the challenge of guarding larger players and effectively did his job on both ends. A

Moses continues his reputation of being an extension of the coach on the floor. He constantly pointed his teammates to their spots on offense and defense and generated good looks from dribble penetration, keeping them involved throughout the game. Moses also did his fair share of scoring. Exposing mismatches, making precise cuts to the rim, and finishing in the lane kept Huntsville afloat once the game seemed to get away from them.
Caleb Harrison, 6’8 PF
Though he was missed on a few opportunities, Harrison continued to affect the game as best he could. His witty play on the defensive end disrupted drivers and forced difficult layup attempts. Harrison also did a good job of attacking the glass and forcing Lee to gang rebound due to his size. He also ran the court effectively and filled the lane correctly. Did a great job of taking what the defense gave him and never forced the issue.
