There’s been a few quality showcase events that have had standout players in this class. We won’t know what kind of impact this class will have until the start of high school season, which begins in November. We’ll be in the gym evaluating, and gathering names to build a quality list of players for this rankings class. This group played on the varsity, or caught our attention at top showcase events over the last few months.
Dallas Washington 6’7 W/F of St. Francis High School.
Washington played his way into the Top 30 Game at the well known Pangos Frosh/Soph Camp in September. He’s long, moves well along the perimeter looking to shoot his 3-point shot. His handles are good in open court, and he has the size to help rebound and defend in the paint..
Alec Blair 6’4 G/F of De La Salle HS.
Blair was a standout performer on Day 1, at the NorCal Frosh/Soph Camp. He’s a versatile player with a good set of skills to play on the perimeter, or around the post area. He’s a decent ball handler, with good vision, and passing to get the ball up court. He can hit the outside shot, and has a good touch inside.
Kasen Kreuger 6’0 PG/SG of Monte Vista HS
It’s way too early to label Kreuger as just a shooter, he can shoot. We saw him running the point guard position on his Varsity team. He had patience, made good decisions with the ball. His vision, and passing were good. They’ll call set plays to get him shots.
Isaiah Davis 6’3 SG of Modesto Christian HS.
Davis has the body and the tools to be an effective shooting guard. He handles well enough to create his own shot off the dribble, and hit pull up jumpers on the move. He’s a confident player not shy about looking to score his points.
Kellen Hampton 6’5 W/F of Moreau Catholic HS.
It’s hard to put a position on Hampton right now. He has a good set of skills to work with. He handles well enough to get his mid-range jumper off on the dribble, and has a good shot from 3. He has the body to handle contact inside.
Anthony Moore 6’4 W/F of Lincoln HS.
Moore has the look of a baller. He’s long, athletic and works hard to defend, and rebound. He runs the court. He can be a quality player, with a good upside depending on the amount of time he spends on improving his individual skill set on offense.
Jalen Stokes 6’4 G/F of Dublin HS.
Stokes may have to wait awhile before he’ll get the chance to showcase his skills. Nonetheless he’s a good player in this 2025 class. A solid frame, good instincts, and feel for the game.
