“Our 5th annual Let’s Get Ready Camp was a huge success and one that will be remembered for years to come! It was a sold out event and the first year that the girls were a part of it. We had over 100 boy campers and close to 20 girls. As with every year, I chose the top standouts from the camp. And this year has proven to be more difficult for me as there were so many great players. For those that I will miss, their play didn’t go unnoticed and I’m sure they will/have been mentioned as well. There is no particular order in which I will pronounce the standouts” – Coach Dell
Let’s take a look at Coach Dell’s standouts at Let’s Get Ready V:
Logan Brooks Logan Brooks 6'7" | SF Muskegon Reeths-Puffer | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-7, Reeths-Puffer)
“Logan, who also played for the Grand Rapids Storm, is a very interesting prospect with a very high upside. He has size and athletic ability, but his best attribute is how good he can shoot the ball. At Let’s Get Ready V, Logan was hitting shots from deep and then when he wanted to, he would go down in the paint and do damage. He’s also a very good defender who can guard multiple positions.” – Coach Dell
Jayden Hardiman Jayden Hardiman 6'7" | C Ferndale | 2023 State MI (2023, 6-7, Warren Mott)
“Jayden is a true power forward who was punishing players in the paint at Let’s Get Ready. He knows his position well and he’s more like an old school throwback with how tough he plays. He sets hard screens and he’ll roll to the basket for the finish. Jayden also has a really good post up game and can step out and make shots from within 15 feet on a consistent basis.” – Coach Dell
Nick Ellis Nick Ellis 6'7" | PF Grand Ledge | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-8, Grand Ledge)
“Big Nick Ellis Nick Ellis 6'7" | PF Grand Ledge | 2022 State MI is a beast on the glass. He’ll snatch every rebound if you let him. He has steadily improved his game and his game was on full display at Let’s Get Ready. Nick was doing it all from inside and making shots from the outside. Not to mention a few monsterous dunks!” – Coach Dell
Trucel Singleton Trucel Singleton 6'0" | CG Benton Harbor | 2022 State MI (2022, 5-9, Benton Harbor)
“Trucel was one of the coaches’ favorites at Let’s Get Ready. He really had a lot of people in awe of his abilities. He has a very strong handle and can get to any spot on the floor. But what you have to watch out for is that he is a deadly shooter and can pull up from 30 feet with ease. I see D1 written all over this kid and his size shouldn’t matter.” – Coach Dell
Jonah Botardo Jonah Botardo 5'5" | PG Troy Athens | 2022 State MI (2022, 5-8, Troy Athens)
“Jonah, the little assassin, may be short in stature, but his game is big. There was no one in the gym that could stay in front of him. He is super quick with a very light handle on the ball and can finish in the lane among the trees. Jonah has really improved his outside shooting which has only made him harder to guard.” – Coach Dell
Brady Titus Brady Titus 5'10" | PG Tri-Unity Christian | 2022 State MI (2022, 5-10, Tri-Unity Christian)
“Mr. Titus is one of the most polished players you’ll find in the state of Michigan. He is a true point guard through and through and can direct a team or go get you buckets. He’s a top prospect in the state and he didn’t disappoint at Let’s Get Ready. Instead, he brought the heat.” – Coach Dell
Markel Martin Markel Martin 6'2" | SG Saginaw Arthur Hill | 2022 State MI (2022, 6-2, Saginaw Arthur Hill)
“I had so many people asking me who this dude was and I was glad to hear it. Mar’Kel is a very underrated player who is a lefty. Known by his nickname “Shifty”, he showed everyone how he got that name. The moves he showed were D1 caliber moves and he showed that he is an elite player. Whichever college program takes a chance on him will not be disappointed.” – Coach Dell
