Now that another is off of the board, let’s take a look at the best uncommitted prospects still on the board. Starting in the backcourt, here are the five best guards/wings that have yet to make a college choice.
Reggie Bass Reggie Bass 6'4" | SG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State #175 Nation IN (Arsenal Tech H.S. 2022)
After decommitting from Illinois, Bass immediately became the top prospect on the board in the state of Indiana. Still holding several offers, most recently coming from Hofstra, the 6’5″ guard is an explosive offensive player. The lefty is a good outside shooter and is excellent in the open floor. His vision and passing ability in transition is one of his best qualities in the eyes of college coaches. Bass will put up big numbers at Arsenal Tech this season as one of the best players in Indianapolis. Expect colleges to follow him closely as the season begins and for more offers to continue to come his way.
Peter Suder Peter Suder 6'5" | SG Carmel | 2022 State #227 Nation IN (Carmel H.S. 2022)
Suder has fallen a bit under the radar due to an injury that kept him from playing on the summer circuit. A 6’5″ physical wing, Suder has contributed at a high level at Carmel since his freshman season and will be highly sought after this winter. Low and mid-major programs are lining up for his services with more to come. Ball State, Bryant, IUPUI, New Orleans, Robert Morris, Stetson, Toledo, Western Michigan, Wright State, and Bellarmine have extended offers so far.
Branden Northern Branden Northern 5'11" | PG Silver Creek | 2022 State IN (Silver Creek H.S. 2022)
Northern is a quick, athletic, scoring guard with a couple of state championships to his name already. The 5’10″ point guard averaged 14.9 points and 6.8 assists per game as a junior and should be ready to take on a larger scoring role after the Dragons lost a pair of Indiana All-Stars to graduation. He will be one of the best players in southern Indiana. Currently holds a Division I offer from Alabama A&M.
Britain Harris Britain Harris 6'3" | SG Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN (Bosco Institute 2022)
Super athletic, 6’3″ wing that could be one of the more under recruited prospects in the state currently. Harris transferred to the newly founded Bosco Institute high school program from Marquette Catholic and should benefit from playing against some national competition this season. He has offers from St. Francis (PA) and Cleveland State. Any low-major program out there that needs an athletic wing should be taking a very hard look at Harris.
Jahni Summers Jahni Summers 6'5" | SG Evansville Harrison | 2022 State IN (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2022)
Summers is a bigger guard that should see his recruitment really take off during his senior season. A 6’5″ shooting guard, Summers has a smooth shooting stroke but is at his best when attacking the basket. He plays above the rim and can get to the rim off of the dribble when he wants. Averaged 17.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Would be a very good Division II player.
