Bryce Cash Bryce Cash 6'5" | CG Carmel Christian | 2023 State NC | Charlotte Christian | G/W
Cash showed off his versatility once again on Day 2 of the Charlotte Hoops Challenge, recording a double-double despite the result. He put up 18 points, 11 rebounds and three assists on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. He knocked down two 3-pointers while showing his ability to operate on all three levels. He’s a top name to know in NC’s 2023 class.
Isaiah Tate Isaiah Tate 6'0" | PG Concord Academy | 2023 State NC | Gaston Christian | G
Tate did some things well for the Gaston Christian offense. He’s a speedy lead guard that shoots the basketball with volume but also can rebound the ball. He finished with 14 points and four rebounds while knocking down three 3-pointers in their loss. As he finds his way on a new squad and gets other weapons on the floor involved, look for his stock to grow in the 2023 class.
Nick Dorn Nick Dorn 6'5" | SG JL Chambers | 2023 State NC | JL Chambers | G
Dorn is a sizeable prospect to know at 6-foot-5 that does well defending multiple roles on the floor and shoot the basketball. He finished with seven points and a block in the JL Chambers rotation despite the result. At 6-foot-5, he can do a number of things well when he’s on the floor and is a name to watch this season for the Cougars.
Jaylen Curry Jaylen Curry 6'1" | PG Calvary Christian | 2023 State #109 Nation FL | JL Chambers | PG
Curry led the offensive attack for JL Chambers with 25 points, six assists, five steals and a rebound while going 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. He was given the green light on offense and showed off his ability to shoot with volume but his best basketball is certainly ahead of him
Rashad McCormick Rashad McCormick 6'7" | CG Andover Prep | 2024 State NC | Hough | G/W
McCormick was a standout in the Hough High backcourt as he led the way on offense for them. He was a wiry asset that finished with 14 points and two assists (7-of-9 from the free-throw line) to make his presence felt in the backcourt. As he learns to be more aggressive and use his length to get to his spots around the paint, look for his name to grow in NC’s 2023 class.
