Nyckolas Clarke | Westminster Catawba Christian | G/W
Clarke is an active force on the wing for WCC and was pivotal in their comeback victory alongside MJ Collins MJ Collins 6'4" | CG Combine Academy | 2022 State #116 Nation NC . He finished with 12 points, five rebounds (4 offensive), three assists and two steals while knocking down two 3-pointers and showing off his ability to make plays for himself and others. He’s a scrappy 6-foot-3 prospect that plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor.
Jalen Booker | Westminster Catawba Christian | F/W
Booker is a name to know in the WCC rotation with his ability to make an impact and play with a high motor. He finished four points, three blocks and two steals in their victory over Charlotte Christian. He does a lot that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet with his ability to alter shots and defend multiple spots on the floor with his strength and athleticism at 6-foot-5. He’s one to watch in their rotation.
Riley Allenspach Riley Allenspach 6'11" | C Providence Day | 2023 State NC | Providence Day | C/F
Allenspach had a big day to pace the Chargers’ offense in their 64-36 victory over Gaston Christian. He finished with 21 points and nine rebounds on 9-of-12 shooting from the field and knocked down two 3-pointers to show off his range on the floor. He’s an emerging name to know in NC’s 2023 class with a ton of upside at 6-foot-11.
Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | GRACE Christian Academy | G
King continues to show off his development as a creator off the bounce and without the ball in his hands for GRACE Christian Academy. He led the way for them in a 72-52 victory with 25 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field and 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range to go along with four assists and four rebounds for the Eagles. He’s a 2023 name whose stock is rising in the state.
Myles Pettis Myles Pettis 5'10" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | GRACE Christian Academy | G
Pettis is another prospect who’s finding his way in the GRACE Christian rotation and had himself a strong outing in the backcourt alongside Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC . He finished with 20 points, three rebounds and two assists while shooting 5-of-5 from behind the arc as they put up stellar numbers shooting the ball. He’s a combo guard that’s emerged as quite the impact player.
Sean Rose Sean Rose 6'6" | PF Charlotte Latin | 2023 State NC | Charlotte Latin | F
Rose was impressive using his length for Charlotte Latin to make his presence felt in the frontcourt. He finished with 16 points and nine rebounds (4 offensive) while knocking down a 3-pointer on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 shooting from the free-throw line. He’s showing his development as a presence around the rim and continues to impress with his length and versatility at the forward spot.
Ned Hull Ned Hull 6'2" | PG Charlotte Latin | 2023 State NC | Charlotte Latin | PG
Hull impressed with his ability to score the basketball and run the show at the point guard spot in Charlotte Latin’s 52-41 victory over Hough. He had 12 points, four assists and three steals while knocking down two 3-pointers in the backcourt. He’s an underrated guard that continues to show off what he can do on the floor.
Brandon Nelson Brandon Nelson 6'2" | SG Indian Land | 2023 State SC | Ardrey Kell | SG
Nelson continues to show why he’s a top shooter in the 2023 class as he showcased his ability for Ardrey Kell in their victory over Cannon School. He does well to space the floor with his ability to catch and shoot and make things happen off the bounce. He finished with 11 points, two assists and two rebounds while going 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and knocking down a 3-pointer. He’s a 2023 name to know in the state at Ardrey Kell High.
