Richard Black III Richard Black III 6'1" | PG Westminster Catawba | 2022 State SC | Westminster Catawba Christian
Black was impressive once again as he was solid doing his part to make a strong trio along with MJ Collins MJ Collins 6'4" | CG Combine Academy | 2022 State #116 Nation NC and Nyckolas Clarke. They’re a strong group that’s hard to beat once they find their rhythm as a team and put runs together. As they progress in the season, look for Black to emerge as a top unsigned senior in the state of South Carolina.
Bryce Scott Bryce Scott 6'6" | SF Providence Day | 2022 State NC | Providence Day
Scott is a player that continues to develop in NC’s 2022 class after a productive grassroots season with EA Prep All-Stars. He’s a 6-foot-6 prospect that plays with a ton of energy on the floor and filled up the stat sheet in the Chargers victory over Gaston Christian, finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds and four assists in the rotation. He’s a versatile prospect that can play the wing/forward role and has flown under the radar in the state of North Carolina. He’s an athletic prospect for college coaches in the Charlotte area and beyond to get eyes on.
Quave Propst-Allison Quave Propst-Allison 6'0" | PG Providence Day | 2022 State NC | Providence Day
Propst-Allison did well to push the pace for Providence Day in their 64-36 victory over Gaston Christian. He showed off his ability to get the defensive rebound and get down the floor make plays in the paint as he posted 12 points, nine rebounds and two assists. He’s a crafty floor general with a ton of potential as he gets his playmakers involved in the rotation. Look for him to become a top unsigned senior in the state soon.
Joel Baucom Joel Baucom 6'3" | SG Combine Academy | 2022 State NC | Combine Academy
Baucom is quietly climbing up the radar as one of the top shooters in the 2022 class with what he’s doing in the Combine Academy rotation. He’s been an asset off the bench on the perimeter as he was in their victory over JL Chambers with eight points and two assists. He knocked down some big shots down the stretch to keep some distance between their opponent. He’s a prospect college coaches in need of a shooter should take a look at.
Karon Boyd Karon Boyd 6'6" | PF Cannon School | 2022 State NC | Cannon
Boyd was a consistent threat once again for Cannon School despite the result. He finished with 17 points, eight rebounds (5 offensive), three blocks and two assists while going 5-of-10 from the field and 7-of-10 from the free-throw stripe to pace the scoring attack for the Cougars. They’ll bounce back in no time as the season progresses.
DJ Nix DJ Nix 6'7" | SF Cannon | 2022 State #211 Nation NC | Cannon
Nix was another double-figure finisher for Cannon School with 16 points along with six rebounds and a block. He’s a hybrid 6-foot-6 wing/forward prospect that can play a number of roles on either end of the floor. He’s got a solid frame and athleticism to go along with his skill set as well. Look for his name to grow as the season progresses as a top unsigned senior in NC.
Antoine Piper Antoine Piper 6'4" | SF JL Chambers | 2022 State NC | JL Chambers
Piper is a new name that’s emerging in the 2022 rankings and impressed with his defensive effort on the floor for JL Chambers. He’s a 6-foot-4 prospect that really gets after it on the defensive end and did a tremendous job of defending Illinois commit Jayden Epps Jayden Epps 6'1" | CG Combine Academy | 2022 State #41 Nation NC while making his own contributions on the offensive end. He put up nine points, five rebounds and four steals while going 4-of-6 from the floor for the Cougars. Look for him to play a big role in their success in 2021-22.
