This is going to be a fun group to watch for Hamlin. They have a great new head coach with a ton of young talent. Make sure you watch them throughout the year, the Chargers have the pieces to be the real deal!
Charger Goals from Coach Todd Neuendorf:
–Get better game by game
-We are a young team and we need to stay the course
-By the end of the season we will be playing very good basketball
-Ultimate goal: Play in the State Tournament
Coach Neuendorf on the Chargers Strengths:
-Very quick and athletic
-We have a number of very good perimeter scorers to go with guys who can finish at the rim
-We should be able to guard 94 feet and play an aggressive defensive style of basketball.
TOP PLAYERS
Tyson Stevenson Tyson Stevenson 6'2" | SG Hamlin | 2024 State SD (2024) |6-1 G|
He will be looked upon for leadership and scoring. Tyson played a role as a freshman on last year’s team. His varsity experience will be invaluable at the start of this season.
Brennen Keszler (2023) |6-3 SG|
He is a very athletic player that can score from mid-range and from slashing to the rim. Keszler will be very important to the Charger’s success on both ends of the floor.
Easton Neuendorf Easton Neuendorf 5'11" | PG Hamlin | 2025 State SD (2025) |5-10 G|
He will be looked upon to run the point guard position. For such a young player, Easton is very skilled with the ball in his hands. Neuendorf will be a nice job of getting the Chargers up and down the floor. Easton will be the 1, but he will still do a nice job of scoring from the perimeter and getting buckets at the rim. Neuendorf has the potential to be one of the best freshmen in South Dakota.
Evan Stormo (2025) |6-2 SF|
He is a strong young player that can score in many ways. Stormo shoots well from beyond the arc. Evan can also get to the rim off the bounce.
Rylan Bawdon (2023) |6-4 F|
He will provide size and frontcourt depth. Rylan will be able to stretch the floor on the offensive side of the ball. On defense, Bawdon will be tasked will guarding opposing the team’s post players.
Dawson Noem Dawson Noem 6'4" | SF Hamlin | 2025 State SD (2025) |6-4 F|
He will be a versatile player for the Chargers. Noem has great shooting range that allows him to score from beyond the arc. Dawson can also play with his back to the basket and put up points.
Luke Fraser (2024) |6-1 G|
He might be young, but Luke is very athletic and very strong. Fraser will provide a slashing punch to the Chargers. Luke will be an exciting player to watch.
Jameson Nebel (2025) |6-4 F|
He is a strong big man with loads of potential. Nebel works hard on his game and he is always improving his craft.
