With the season around the corner, it’s time to take an in-depth look at some of the teams and players expected to have a major impact. While it’s impossible to see everyone, I’ve seen enough to have an idea about who’s going to perform. This year is unique as two classes will be making their H.S debuts. In this article, we take a look at our top 10 impact freshmen and sophomore.

  1. Alijah Adem Alijah Adem 6'2" | PG Spring Valley | 2024 State NV 6’1 PG Spring Valley (#7PHN 2024) - Probably the easiest one on the list. Adem will have the ball in his hand, is surrounded by weapons, and plays for a squad capable of winning the 4A crown.
  2. DJ Thomas DJ Thomas 6'0" | PG Liberty | 2024 State NV 6’1 PG Liberty 2024 (#1PHN 2024) - Thomas will be one of the key guys for a Liberty squad with their sites set on a 5A crown.
  3. Jase Richardson Jase Richardson 6'2" | PG Bishop Gorman | 2024 State NV 6’2 PG Bishop Gorman (#5PHN 2024) - Richardson should stuff the stat sheet as Gorman goes for a national record 10 straight state titles.
  4. Mason Brown Mason Brown 6'1" | PG Durango | 2025 State NV 6’1 PG Durango 2025 (#1PHN 2025) - Durango is loaded, but Brown is good enough to receive playing time, and help the Trailblazers
