Continue ReadingAs the Fall AAU season came to a close last weekend, we take a glance at the FCAA organization class of 2025 future ballers of the Pittsburgh area. These young men have matured and developed over the years into one of the top programs in the state for their age level. Attracting players throughout the region, FCAA brings intensity and high energy to the hardwood each and every time during tournament weekends. Keep these young performers on your radar this high school season, where I am sure many of them will be gaining valuable experience at the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. Below let’s check out the future of the WPIAL, that is why this AAU program is known as the “Future Collegiate Athletes of America.”
FCAA 2025:
Dame Givner Dame Givner 6'1" | PG Imani Christian Academy | 2025 State PA / 5’10″ / 160lbs / combo guard / Obama Academy High School
- A talented highly regarded young player with the ability to create opportunities not only for himself but his teammates as well
- He has a quick first step on offense and extremely active hands on the defensive end of the floor
Billy Keyes / 5’8″ / 150lbs / shooting guard / Central Catholic High School
- This young man brings the hard work mentality to the court during every game which tends to motivate his team
- He can knock down the perimeter jumper, while still having the skill to penetrate the lane
Lonnie Greene / 6’2″ / 200lbs / power forward / Jeanette High School
- A big, strong aggressive power forward that likes contact in the post on both the offensive and defensive ends of the hardwood
- An above-average shot-blocker who also rebounds well to begin transition breaks with quality outlets to his guards
Mouhamed Dieng / 6’5″ / 190lbs / power forward / McKeesport High School
- This always developing tall, lanky performer has been improving each and every game in the low and high post of offense
- As for defense, he is coming into his own and a shot blocker and above the rim rebounder
Byron Wright / 5’6″ / 145lbs / point guard / Central Catholic High School
- He has extreme quickness in the half-court set and during the press which causes havoc for the opponents
- An unselfish player that looks for makes his teammates better during each contest
Blake Yates / 6’1″ / 175lbs / wing forward / Mars High School
- The high motor and aggressiveness of this young man earns his teams trust in tight game situations
- He likes to run the floor in transition and finish at the rim
Nick Bognar / 5’11″ 170lbs / shooting guard / Norwin High School
- Has a solid three-point jump shot and his skilled ball handling can create open opportunities for mid-range chances as well
- An above-average passer who looks in the post to utilize his big men in the half-court offensive set
Mike Dietrich / 6’2″ / 170lbs / wing forward / Canon McMillian High School
- A total team-oriented player that works hard to develop his game and help his team to continued success
- He has the ability to box out and rebound at a quality level on the defensive end of the court
