The upcoming varsity basketball season is full of intrigue with multiple teams getting ready for deep postseason runs. The 2024 class may have only played a year of high school basketball, but some prospects are already ready for a bigger role in their teams. Here are the 2024 prospects set for an expanded role in 2021-22.

Richard Brisco Richard Brisco 6'8" | PF Roselle Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’8 PF Roselle Catholic

Brisco will be a key cog for the Lions as he will be one of the main players in the frontcourt. The 6’8 forward has a strong frame which he uses to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Brisco has an underrated handle and can hit open jumpers in the mid-range. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to alter shots on the defensive end. Brisco will be playing key minutes for Roselle Catholic down the stretch of the season as the Lions will need his size and energy down low to win games in the state tournament.
