STEPHEN REINDORP STEPHEN REINDORP 6'0" Clark | 2024 TX 2024 6’0 Clark High School
Stephen is an athletic guard with plenty of potential. He already controls the game with great maturity and is fearless when attacking the rim. He is never afraid of meeting anyone in the paint and really flies around the court wreaking havoc. I was very impressed with his ability to pass out of trouble, especially as he started to garner more of the defense’s attention. I would like to see him work on his ability to shoot off the dribble, especially behind the arc. He is an impressive slasher already at a young age and if he begins to hone in on his ability to punish from beyond the arc he has the potential to become a real weapon.
Hunter Duran 2024 Guard 6’3 Lake Travis High School
Hunter is an aware combo guard who is great at staying ready to knock down shots from around the arc. His off-ball movement and ability to create space from his defender stood out. He is great at running close to screens and forcing his defender to run into the screen with and without the ball. He is also a good utility player who can be used in the pick and roll. I was impressed with his all-around game at such a young age however I would like to see him work on his ability to put the ball on the floor and attack defenses from the midrange.
Cai Nix Cai Nix 6'1" | C Little Elm | 2024 TX 2024 Guard 6’1 Little Elm High School
Cai is an aggressive on-ball defender, he plays with high energy on both ends of the floor. He loves running the floor and got a plethora of looks at the rim. He has great athleticism and leaping ability, he skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and even got a smart tip out to an open shooter on an offensive rebound. I would like to see him work on his ability to get to his pull-up beyond the arc, he showed an ability to get his shot off in the midrange.
Jalen RaShad Robinson Jalen RaShad Robinson 5'9" South Oak Cliff | 2024 TX 2024 Guard 5’9 South Oak Cliff High School
Jalen is an impressive attacker of the rim. He is a solid finisher despite his size and never has any worries about attacking bigs and wings. He can control the tempo of the game and create open looks for his teammate. He has active hands and knows how to play the passing lanes to get easy steals and bait opponents into lazy passes. I would like to see him work on his ability to get to his shot off the bounce, especially behind the arc.
Quinton Ross Quinton Ross 5'11" | C Summit | 2024 TX 2024 Guard 5’8 Summit High School
Quinton is a very aware point guard who always seems to make the right reads. I was very impressed with his ability to penetrate and recognize where the help defense was coming from and make the right passes out to his shooters. He seemed comfortable operating within the half-court offense. I would like to see him work on making his passes earlier, he is making the right reads just half a step too slow at times. I would also like to see him work on being more confident with his ability to attack the rim. He was able to get to his spots in the midrange and rise up off the bounce with ease, I would also like to see him incorporate a high arching floater to get off over bigs.
Kaden Jackson Kaden Jackson 6'0" | SG Bishop Dunne - Dallas | 2024 TX 2024 Guard 5’11 LD Bell High School
Kaden is a fearless finisher on the fast break and knows how to attack defenses in transition. Whether it was making the right reads on a 2-3 fast break or attacking the weak space as the defender hesitated to cover a shooter Jackson thrived on the break. He is a great passer and knows how to set his teammates up for easy looks. He was designated as the team out-of-bounds passer when on the baseline and sideline and created a plethora of looks for his team. I would like to see him work on squaring up on all his jump shots, even the ones off the dribble. There were instances in which he faded away unnecessarily or let his feet kick out to the sides and caused his shot to be off.
Deunta Young Jr 2024 Guard 6’0 North Dallas High School
Deunta is great with a live dribble and created a plethora of looks for his teammates by getting downhill and attacking the rim. I was very impressed with his ability to dictate the tempo and control the game, but also his aware passing ability. Whether it was passed up the court or making the right reads within the half-court pick and roll Young showed off his supreme court awareness. He is the true definition of a facilitating slasher at the guard position. As he continues to grow, I am interested to watch his potential. I would like to see him work on creating open looks for himself by getting to his shot off the dribble.
Tristen Hicks Tristen Hicks 6'2" | SG Independence | 2024 TX 2024 Guard 6’1 Independence High School
Tristen is a high-energy player who is great at applying full-court pressure. His aggressiveness as an on-ball defender showed out as he showed no fear of picking up high-level ball handlers the length of the court. He plays hard on both ends of the floor and showed an ability to attack the rim and fight for rebounds. I would like to see him work on his overall ability to get to his shot whether it is attacking the bucket, getting to a floater, or a pull-up.
