Baye Fall Baye Fall 6'11" | C Luthern Christian | 2023 State #13 Nation CO – Denver Prep #1
Baye Fall Baye Fall 6'11" | C Luthern Christian | 2023 State #13 Nation CO has been a pleasure to watch over the last two years at Lutheran as he dominated the game in every way possible. His high IQ and defensive intensity make him the perfect teammate. He’s also very unselfish with the ball although he can score at ease. He has the size already to play at the next level and is one of the best defenders in the courty which is why he is a highly touted recruit in only his junior season. Fall has been a standout at various tournaments and showcases which has earned him looks at the nation’s top schools. He gets whatever he wants on the block, has an improved mid range and can alter the game on the defensive end of the floor with highlight dunks as well. He transfers after a state championship win and now will be looking to lead Denver Prep Academy to countless victories on a difficult schedule. He’s surely the No.1 player in the state regardless of class.
Assane Diop Assane Diop 6'10" | PF Belleview Christian | 2023 State #107 Nation CO – Denver Prep #2
Assane Diop Assane Diop 6'10" | PF Belleview Christian | 2023 State #107 Nation CO also finally is getting the national attention that he deserves after a monster year and even better summer. At 6’10 he has the size of a forward/post but has the ball handling and instincts of a guard and that is why he racked up triple double after triple-double a season ago at Belleview Christian, leading them to a state championship. With his length and court vision, there aren’t too many passes he can’t make. He is also incredibly patient on the offensive side of the floor, and is never sped up. The game is usually played at his speed, forcing defenders to adapt to his playing style. Defensively he can guard 1-5 with no problem, plays passing lanes well and is an elite help-side defender. Assane is the ultimate competitor that truly has no issue doing whatever it takes to help his team win games and now makes the ultimate twin-tower lineup with Senegal teammate Baye Fall Baye Fall 6'11" | C Luthern Christian | 2023 State #13 Nation CO . They will be a force at Denver Prep.
Baye Ndongo Baye Ndongo 6'9" | PF Colorado Prep | 2023 #139 Nation CO – Colorado Prep #3
Baye Ndongo Baye Ndongo 6'9" | PF Colorado Prep | 2023 #139 Nation CO is a name people should get used to hearing over the next two years as he has made his presence known over the last few months and is only getting better. During the last few weeks, he has been a walking double-double for Colorado Prep as well as becoming one the go-to guys. Ndongo is a scrappy wing that fights every possession on both sides of the ball, has the size of a college athlete and is high IQ. Most of his points and rebounds come from him just wanting it more than other players. On the defensive side of the ball is really where you’re able to see his endless motor get put to use, whether it’s diving for loose balls or hustling back in transition for blocks. At this rate, Baye Ndongo Baye Ndongo 6'9" | PF Colorado Prep | 2023 #139 Nation CO stock is sure to rise on the national level and he will be leading a talented Colorado Prep team.
Kadyn Betts Kadyn Betts 6'7" | PF Huntington Prep | 2023 #90 Nation CO – Pueblo Central #4
Kadyn Betts Kadyn Betts 6'7" | PF Huntington Prep | 2023 #90 Nation CO has been a staple of consistency over the past few years, with his numbers growing by the year. As only a sophomore, he put up monster numbers and heads into a highly anticipated junior season. College coaches are finally starting to take notice which isn’t much of a surprise to us but it is great to see how quickly things are turning around for him. Betts is a 6’7 forward that kills opposing teams’ offensive game plans by being an active voice for teammates and by eliminating shot attempts at the rim. He also is a knockdown shooter with that size and has a good feel for the game. Over this summer Kadyn’s offensive game took a huge step in the right direction. At times he ran point-forward for his PLUTO team, showing he can make the right plays for teammates as well score from all 3 levels of the floor. He’s a player that has plenty of eyes of him and this will be his coming-out party.
Carey Booth Carey Booth 6'8" Cherry Creek | 2023 CO – Cherry Creek #5
Carey Booth Carey Booth 6'8" Cherry Creek | 2023 CO has by far been our biggest stock riser over the summer as he makes his way into our Top 5 rankings. Booth is a long 6’7 forward whose upside is through the roof and college coaches are starting to take notice. Carey is a skilled wing with guard talents, is a sniper from deep, and is athletic as they come. He can score in a halfcourt set or is a one-man fastbreak that is ready to make highlight plays happen. He does not shy away from contact, finishes over smaller defenders, and can defend both guards and bigs. He’s a gym rat that is coming into his body, is getting stronger and his love of the game is shining through. It will be interesting for him to put that all on display as Cherry Creek will be one of the younger but more talented teams in a tough Centennial league. He will surely have the opportunity to put it all on display as I am sure he will have many doubters. Big season ahead for him.
