Sincere Parker (Moberly)
Parker was one of the top prospects in attendance. The former Rockford East standout recently committed to attend St. Louis University. They are getting a good one. Two guard has positional size along with a free and easy shooting stroke. His pull up game was on point along with bombing in NBA range threes. Had a couple of impressive drives including going baseline for emphatic finishes. He should be able to be an effective defender at the A-10 level and a really nice impact get for the Billikens.
Tujautae Williams (John A Logan)
Williams was the other star of the day for me. We covered him extensively in high school at Orr and with his high school coach in the stands watching he put on an absolute show! The 6’7” sophomore wing is a D1 transfer that looked every bit the part of a mid-major plus and potentially high-major guy. Go to scorer for the Vols draining pull up twos at a very high rate. This is a progression he has made in his game since high school being more consistent in this area. The athleticism and ability to create his own shot really pop. Defensively he can switch on multiple positions and had a couple of impressive swats.
Cobie Barnes (John A Logan)
Barnes was the other high level wing prospect for Logan. The Indiana State transfer should find a nice home at a mid-major plus school after this season. Good size and strong frame He is wired to get buckets! Slick pull up game creating on his own or behind screens. Three ball was pretty effective throughout the day. Also showed burst getting to the rim including an emphatic dunk late in one of their games.
Cam Alford (John A Logan)
Alford is a tough and gritty glue guy for Logan. He does the little things effectively whither it be crashing the offensive glass, knowing how to use his body to score inside against taller opponents, or getting after it on defense.
Teon Nesbitt (John A Logan)
Nesbitt is a bench player for Logan that should find a home at the D2 level down the line. The Chicago native is a plus three point shooter that can really let it fly from deep especially off the catch. Microwave type scorer.
Dailliss Cox (Lake Land)
Cox was a well-built shooting guard that caught our attention with his physical tools. crisp pull up game, and the way he attacks downhill with force.
Eli Brown (Olney Central)
Brown is a player from Kentucky we saw a lot on the travel team circuit with the Illinois Bears. Two guard with a lengthy frame and overall fluid offensive skill set. What he does best is shoot it off the catch and that was apparent when we saw him with OCC as he drained an array of threes.
Carlos Ramsey (Highland)
This athletic two guard is a lefty that was most effective scoring off the bounce. He won on drives pretty consistently getting to the rack for spinning layups. Rangy defender with capabilities on that end.
Jatrious Smith (Highland)
Another slashing wing from Highland that has good projectability. Physical tools are intriguing along with a nice mid-range shot.
Nigel Martin (Vincennes)
Martin was a plus shooting two guard from Vincennes. He really let it fly from the perimeter with consistency and showed some bounce on baseline takes.
Darrius Davis (Vincennes)
Davis is an athletic two guard that played with a high-motor. He was at his best using his burst getting in the lane for spinning layups and straight line takes. Also mixed in a sweet euro step. Like what he brought as a defender.
Brandon Michrina (Henry Ford)
Small forward that has a nice overall skill set. He can stretch the floor from the perimeter knocking down spot up threes. Good passer that hit cutters on the move.
Jamil Mashhour (Macomb)
We came away very impressed with the upside of this wing from Michigan. Plus athlete with size that has a projectable frame and game. He can play above the rim throwing down several monster dunks along with knocking down free and easy three point shots. Defended well across the board. Low-majors should take a look.
Cameron Mcevans (Macomb)
Strong bodied wing that can put it on the deck for bully ball along with having a decent shot from distance. He was fouled on a game tying three attempt and then knocked in all three free throws to send game to OT.
Savon Wykle (Parkland)
Like the upside of this athletic shooting guard that can score when getting loose in the open floor and had a nice looking pull up game from mid-range.
