EJ Matthews-Spratley EJ Matthews-Spratley 6'2" | SG Cherry Hill East | 2022 State NJ , 6’2 SG Cherry Hill East 2022
The Cougars are looking to duplicate their success from the 2019-20 season and Matthews-Spratley will be a key part of it. The 6’2 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he is a good finisher and is unafraid of drawing contact. Matthews-Spratley is more than just a slasher as he can knock down jumpers from deep as he has a nice release on his shot. He is a good defender and moves well off the ball. Matthews-Spratley is the perfect compliment to Drew Greene Drew Greene 5'10" | PG Cherry Hill East | 2022 State NJ on the perimeter, making Cherry Hill East a tough out this season.
Tayvon Gaither Tayvon Gaither 6'3" | SG Lenape | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Lenape 2022
Rutgers commit Derek Simpson Derek Simpson 6'3" | PG Lenape | 2022 State NJ runs the show for Lenape, but Gaither will be a big help on the wing. The 6’3 guard attacks the basket strong and does not mind finishing through contact. Gaither can make tough shots around the rim and is capable of hitting open jumpers from distance. He is a strong rebounder and an underrated passer. Gaither will be needed to take the pressure off Simpson for Lenape if the Indians want to take home the South Jersey Group 4 title.
Reggie Selden Jr., 6’1 PG Bishop Eustace 2024
Selden Jr. had a big summer with Philly Pride and should continue to make noise this season. The 6’1 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to break his defender down off the bounce and get to the rim. Selden Jr. can finish through traffic around the basket and is a capable shooter from distance. He rarely forces the issue in the halfcourt and moves his feet on the defensive end. Selden Jr. is a talented lead guard prospect who is ready for a breakout sophomore campaign.
Dasear Haskins Dasear Haskins 6'8" | SF Camden | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 SF Camden 2023
Haskins has been making noise during the open gym periods this fall and is primed for a breakout season. The 6’7 wing is a big-time athlete who knows how to finish above the rim. Haskins has a nice handle and can knock down open jumpers from the perimeter when given space. He is a good rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions. Haskins recently picked up offers from Monmouth and Fairfield, but that offer sheet should grow as the season progresses.
Mirko Bramati Mirko Bramati 6'7" | SF Morris Catholic | 2023 NLG , 6’7 SF Paul VI 2023
Jaden Arline Jaden Arline 5'11" | PG Paul VI | 2022 State NJ will be the go-to guy for the Eagles, but Bramati is one to watch as well. The 6’7 wing has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender and finish around the basket. Bramati can also score in the mid-range and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. He is an underrated defender and makes good passes in the half court. Bramati is slated for a big 2021-22 season as he gets more touches on the offensive end.
