The best team is the Duke Blue team, they are 10-0 headed into the final week and playoffs. This next crop of top players feature high flyers, defensive stoppers, and scoring machines. It has been a blast to cover this event and see the crowds and college coaches getting a sneak peek at some of the area’s top talent.

– 2023 CG – Team Yellow
When you first see Carter, he has this big smile and looks like the nicest kid. On the court, he is a fierce player with a killer instinct.
His game is fluid, his jump shot is pure, his motor and his competitiveness are unmatched. Carter plays downhill and is one of the best players in the area. At 6’2, he has confidence that will propel him to the next level. If you follow him and watch his film, he is an incredible athlete. He has turned some heads during this Fall League with his sneaky athleticism.
His Yellow team currently sits at 3 wins and 7 losses, 9th place, as we head into the final week. He has posted games of 20+ points several times with one game where he went for 32.
He has had some incredible highlights, one sequence where he got a steal and elevated over a defender for a one-handed dunk that had people in the gym shaking their heads (currently over 2500 views), another was off the tip to start the game and he takes the ball and throws it down for a highlight dunk. He has a quick first step that allows him to get to the rim and a lethal jump shot. The sky is the limit for this young man. His recruitment is just starting and a LOT of programs from D3 to Mid-Majors are taking notice. Look for Carter to have a successful Junior campaign at Fremont Ross. #scoringmachine
Michel Greenlee Jr. – 2023 PG – Team Red
Greenlee is a super quick, heady PG who is a coach’s dream. He has a great handle and outstanding leadership qualities.
During the fall league, he has reminded opponents that he is one of the top guards in the area. He has had some really solid games, averaging almost 6 assists per game. I like his motor and his ability to get his team into their flow with high IQ plays from steals that convert to easy layups or his ability to get in the lane and drive as he creates for his teammates.
His Red team currently sits 4 wins and 6 losses, 8th, as we head into the final week. Look for the 3 star Greenlee to finish strong this weekend as he heads into his high school season with Toledo Central Catholic team that has a loaded, talented team and will challenge for the TRAC Title. #scoringmachine
Tony Fisher – 2022 F – Team Purple
When is first saw Fisher it was at a Whitmer Panther open gym for my TRAC preview article, I thought he has a ton of potential. Seeing him in Fall League play, he looks like a different player.
Fisher is a strong, lefty high flyer that put on a dunk display during the past weekend. He has great lateral movement with the power and leaping ability to dunk the ball at will. Fisher caught my attention with a block that was seemingly impossible to get out of his area. He has great instincts and a high motor as he showed during one contest in which he had 4 powerful dunks.
His Purple team currently sits 4 wins and six losses, 7th, as we head into the final weekend. His recruitment is unknown but that won’t last long. Look for Fisher to leave his mark on the Fall League as well as the TRAC during his senior season. #HighFlyer
Lamon Burton Jr. – 2022 SG – Team Carolina Blue
Burton is a shifty scorer who is also one of the best on-ball defenders in the Fall League. While most of the players concentrate on scoring, Burton is one of the few players that has really excelled on the defensive end. He often guards the best player on the other team and just makes life miserable for the duration of the game, he has quick hands and has utilized his footwork to be in position for steals as he takes it the other way for a score. On the offensive side, Burton plays with swag with a quick first step to get to his spot in the lane.
His Carolina Blue team is currently in 2nd place with an 8-2 record and Lamon is one of the major reasons why. This will be a great final weekend with Duke Blue and Carolina Blue coming in as the top two teams. #defensivestopper
Jacob Meyer – 2022 SF – Team White
Anyone who has walked in the gym during the Fall League will know who Jacob Meyer is. He puts on a highlight reel display of dunks during warm-ups that leaves everyone wondering, “what dunk will he do next?”
Meyer is not just a dunker, but one of the best small forwards in his class. He has a complete understanding of the game and plays it at a high level, with pace and efficiency. He makes timely shots, jaw-dropping dunks, and is a tremendous rebounder who he does the little things to help his team win. In transition, he is one of the best finishers in the area.
His White team currently sits in 3rd with a 7-3 record. Look for Meyer to be the difference maker to get his team gets to the Championship game. He is currently being recruited by several D3/NAIA programs. #highflyer
