Southwest Minnesota Christian and Westbrook-Walnut Grove were the class of the Red Rock last winter?  Who are the top contenders in 21-22?  We break down the Red Rock today!


Conference Commentary

Top Ten: Southwest Minnesota Christian 

Southwest Minnesota Christian may not be a top ten team to start the year but it may not take them long to land among the state’s elite.  They went 19-3 last season and bring back three of their top four players which makes them a big favorite. 

Top Ten Potential:  Westbrook-Walnut Grove, Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda, Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey, Hills-Beaver Creek

WWG will have a hard time matching a season where they won 80 plus percent of their games but this is a good program with a couple good pieces returning. We think they will be a step behind the leader but still be in contention. With a pair of all league talents back from a 13-7 team we thin Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda will move into the top contender spot but they do have to figure out how to be WWG.  The Coyotes were 0-3 vs WWG a season ago although the games were mostly close.  We think they take the next step although they have
