The Warriors went 7-9 last season under head coach JD DePasquele. All-County guard pick Alex Houck Alex Houck 6'3" | CG Jupiter | 2022 State FL and transfer forward Conner Weston Conner Weston 6'7" | SF Jupiter | 2022 State FL (Jupiter Christian) are two of the leaders on this year’s team. I have touched on both players often in the past. Therefore, I would like to talk about some other players on the team.
Let’s breakdown the Warriors more.
2022 Julian Sotomayor should be a great player off the bench and a scoring presence for Jupiter. The Warriors have a ton of backcourt depth, and Sotomayor is one of them (see below).
2023 Grant Oliver was the starting point guard last season. He should have continuity and chemistry in this system as he grows his own game. 2023 Ben Cahill is a crafty player that should contribute. 2023 Jackson Baer is also a transfer from Jupiter Christian that has played well during fall league play. Baer could be one of the better junior guards in the county.
The Warriors are equally as tough in the frontcourt with 6-foot-7 2022 Charlie McCullough and 6-foot-7 2023 Juan Bell. McCullough has received D-3 interest. Bell had a big summer and should make an impact around the post. 2023 Khamari Accursio Khamari Accursio 6'4" | SF Jupiter | 2023 FL started as a sophomore and was an All-County honorable mention. Watch out for 2023 Matt Williams as well.
2025 Ray Ray Collum is a player to keep an eye on. While only 5-foot-6, Collum packs a punch and plays with a High IQ. He has a great feel for the game and should only grow. He could be a special player once he gets going.
My thoughts on Jupiter obviously start with Houck and Weston. Both players should average over 15 points per game and have the Warriors in the mix as one of the better teams in the county. The junior class is where I would like to see the most growth. Jupiter has a chance to be a good team if all these factors come together.
