In this article:
The following players below are in their last season of High School Basketball and are ready for the next level! Great variety of players that can play at the next level!
Dylan Darling Dylan Darling 6'1" | CG Central Valley | 2022 WA | Central Valley High School
Dylan Darling Dylan Darling 6'1" | CG Central Valley | 2022 WA ’s best attribute is his motor. This kid plays every possession like it’s his last. He takes care of the ball like it’s the final possession of the game. Dylan has great quickness when attacking off the dribble and is hard to stay in front of, as well as in transition. He makes good decisions with the ball, always looking to make the right play instead of making a flashy play. Dylan is a great on-ball defender and always wants to guard the best player. This kid’s toughness and dedication are never in question. Dylan is a top 5 player here in Spokane and has worked hard to get there. He will have a big senior year and can’t wait to watch it play out!
Jayden Stevens Jayden Stevens 6'8" | SF Gonzaga Prep | 2022 State WA | Gonzaga Prep High School
Jayden is one of those kids that you look at and are interested in right away. He has a 6-6 frame and is quite athletic. Jayden is a kid you have to watch out for when he’s attacking the basket because he might just dunk on you. He is always attacking the rim with relentless effort and always wants to dunk it with ruthless aggression. Jayden is a GREAT teammate and always doing everything it takes to keep his teams morale up. He is always the biggest cheerleader for his teammates. Jayden is a good shooter from the outside. But where he excels the most is breakdown his defender off the dribble and finishing at the rim usually with extra free throws.
Jackson Harty Jackson Harty 6'9" | PF West Valley | 2022 WA | West Valley High School
Jackson is a 6’9 big that you can’t forget about when he’s on the court. Jackson is a great shooter from anywhere on the court, as well as a fantastic rebounder. I watch this kid grab 23 rebounds in a game last year! He is great in the pick and roll, with a soft touch around the rim. His effort on the defensive and offensive boards is always giving his team extra possessions whether it’s an easy putback or he kicks it out to set something up. Either way, he is always looking to get every rebound. Jackson is going to have a big senior year, as his young team will look for him to lead them.
Ray Ray Bergersen Ray Ray Bergersen 6'0" | SG Borah | 2022 WA | Ferris High School
Ray is playing his first and final year of high school basketball here in Spokane. He is a transfer from Boise Idaho. This kid can fly in the open court! His acceleration is lightning quick! Ray is a great playmaker and always giving his teammates great opportunities to score. He is a great shooter from the 3pt line and doesn’t normally force bad shots. He would rather make the extra pass than throw up a junk shot. I’ve only got to see him play a little bit this fall before the season, but I like what I see and I know he’s going to make a great impact for the Saxons.
Trayce Atkins Trayce Atkins 5'10" | PG Ferris | 2022 WA | Ferris High School
Trayce is one of those types of point guards that you can trust to make the right play almost all the time. Tracye has impeccable speed and uses it to just blow by his defenders on offense, as well as locking down his opponent on defense. Trayce does a great job moving the ball in the offense and isn’t selfish. He is that guy to get the offense moving and is always trying to find guys in scoring positions. Trayce is an OK shooter from the 3pt line but has been improving year after year.
