Micah missed more AAU weekends than most. Simpson was torn between two sports: basketball and football. The projection of Micah's basketball game was OVC ceiling, if he ever significantly improved his outside shooting. The [program_tooltip program_id='2078773' first='Tennessee' last='Bobcats'] lineup was certainly thin without him in July, but Simpson was intent on proving his football potential. In the end, Simpson chose the football path.

Bakari is a interesting prospect as he possesses both attractive tangibles and intangibles. Ideal college wing height. Nice strength. Way back in 2019-2020, his most recent high school season, Bakari averaged 17 points per game along with 9 rebounds per night. In order to improve most quickly, Johnson needs to develop a more consistent outside shot. The athleticism and size for his ultimate position are really key to keeping him as a Top 25 prospect statewide.

#23 Terrance Jacobs Jr.

Terrance will give Bartlett High his final year of high school. Paired with [player_tooltip player_id="1019406" first="Amarr" last="Knox"], Jacobs Jr. might be forming the best backcourt in Tennessee. Quicker than most with a sharp basketball mind. Terrance will always get to the basket with ease, but he sacrifices size on the other end. Playing last January against Briarcrest Christian, Jacobs Jr. was posted up a couple of times. This could be a concern at the college level, as Jacobs Jr. is blistering fast but more slight of frame than some hulking college lead guards. Jacobs Jr. is already a strong outside shooter. Radford and Jacksonville University offered him in June.

#24 [player_tooltip player_id="1011990" first="Kyler" last="Dandridge"]

[player_tooltip player_id="1011990" first="Kyler" last="Dandridge"] is a player we owe more attention to. The strong, slashing guard does not talk much on the court or boast about his game. He lets the scoring and defending do the talking. KD did not get to play a junior year while attending White Station High School. Projects as a LM two-way player. Dandridge proved

#25 [player_tooltip player_id="1022635" first="David" last="Craig"]

The skill development of South African [player_tooltip player_id="1022635" first="David" last="Craig"] has been remarkable. Now standing 7-foot-2, Craig never lacked for size. He was absolutely lacking in skill. Like [player_tooltip player_id="1179401" first="Handje" last="Tamba"], Craig needed the reps of competing against college-bound talent everyday. He is getting that with McCallie. [player_tooltip player_id="1022635" first="David" last="Craig"] is the second biggest climber in Tennessee to [player_tooltip player_id="1162494" first="D.J." last="Richmond"] who ascended from #129 to #49. Craig's strength and power continue to soar. He is far from a lanky project at the power position. Unlike many supremely tall high school players, Craig does not avoid contact or play meek basketball. He embraces the physicality inherent to playing under the rim. Teammates love him. Coaches see what he can become along with how hard he works. Brilliant student. Exciting prospect. He will likely redshirt his first year at a D1 school to develop rapidly and not burn the scholarship year.
